Puerto de la Cruz is for us a place to recharge the batteries, in the dark cold months in Denmark. We've been some times, in different hotels. We tried this for the first time, and was surprised (😉) at how great it was. A new pearl in town found. This is by far amongst the best in town. It's 2+ star rating doesn't do them just. You could easily add more. Perfect cleanliness, employees, atmosphere and general feeling. Just renovated from top to bottom, and done so very beautifully and by a perfectionist, it seems (I'm one my self, I must admit). I have some back/hip injuries, and the beds are amongst the best hotel beds I've ever tried. (Memory Foam, I believe, brand new and a top quality). And I've tried a lot, in many fancy hotels/apartments. It's placed perfectly near everything, with views in various directions.

We were satisfied in the first 7 days, as we stayed in room 616 which has a good view. We were moved to 604 in the next 7days (it was our decision to extend our vacation to 7 days more) In the hallway going to our room, smelled disgusting. Someone had his bird or dog in the room as it smelled (i couldn't explains but it was unpleasant) Anyway. the reception, cleaning group, and everything was okay. We get our room cleaned everyday, the Lady in the reception was helpful with our inquuries. All in all it was a good stay.

Myself and 3 friends came here on a ladies only holiday. We got a cheap deal, so wasnt expecting much. But pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean. Rooms are spacious. But as with another review the fridge needed to be allowed to stay on. Otherwise what's the point in having 1? Our room was cleaned daily. The cleaner in our friends room did walk in whilst they were still in bed. Instead of leaving carried on cleaning around them. It made me laugh but they found it odd. All the staff we met were friendly though. Receptionist were all really lovely. Even when we came back late after a few beers. We didnt eat here so can't mention that. But did use the pool area. Could do with a good clean. But overall we had a good stay. Its definitely somewhere we would stay again.

We booked half board here for a week,we were not expecting a lot as we didn't pay much for half board option, but the food was inedible!!!! We ate at the hotel on the first night, the choice is limited and poor quality, the staff were miserable and unhelpful,30 mins after eating I had to rush to the toilet!!!! Breakfast is no better same every day with very limited food, but for a cup of tea and a piece of toast it was alright, the outside and inside bars were shut all week but opened on our last night!!!! From day one we had people working in the room next door fitting a new bathroom I think as the drilling was vibrating things of the shelf and our view on the terrace beside us was an old toilet,we couldn't hear ourselves think as the noise was too much,I did complain and got an apology but why they would carry out work when guests are next door I don't know!!!! Basic kitchen with 2 hobs and a fridge, pots and pans,no kettle but that didn't matter,if you want a no frills hotel it's cheap but don't go half board,we spent more money eating out than it would have cost to get a better hotel, this should just be appartments and stop doing food

Having just returned from this hotel I am very disappointed with the lack of facilities the restaurant was more than adequate for breakfast and evening meal although meal was not untill 8pm and traveling with a 5 year old that is too late for them to be having there dinner. Poor points the internal bar never opened once In The whole week the outdoor terrace bar only opened on the first day and not again for the remainder of our holiday website says cafe/snack bar we never saw any evidence of either of these there was no evening entertainment at all. So from 8am untill 8pm there is nowhere at the hotel to get a drink alcohol or coffee and with no kettle in the room this was a little annoying.i requested a spare electric card to keep in at all times as I had food and drinks in the fridge but the cleaners insisted on taking this out every day so the fridge never stayed on. On the plus side the rooms are spacious and clean and the roof top pool is a nice little sun trap with just enough sun loungers

We couldn't ask for a better stay in this hotel. Clean room, like mini-apartment, breakfast buffet in the morning not bad at all, very central, near the beach and non expensive restaurants for a dinner in the evening. Swimming pool on the top floor was very clean, and the staff was extremely kind and helpful

This apartment hotel is very cheap and thus its comfort and standard is not the best. Keeping this in mind, if you can put up with poor view, hard beds, poor daily cleaning, noisy traffic and night-club music nearby, then it will be perfect for a thin wallet. If you can put in extra money in your accomodation you should pick another choice of hotel. Tenerife Ving Hotel is well situated in the center of Puerto de la Cruz, a Hiperdino Supermarket just some hundred meters away and the busstation a short walk away. This part of Tenerife is lush and green, the Titsa bus company offers many opportunities to explore Tenerife, or hire a car to get around The second time around for me to visit in december and the weather is agreable to say the least, 25 degrees sunny with a quiet breese. That is why one should see Tenerife.
