We booked through their own HomePage because of the fotos of the rooms. That was a Big mistake, because they do not align. It has had a makeup done of the rooms, but only for first viewing, because it is actually very old and used. The beds are as hard as the floor, the bathrooms are extremely old and not very comfortable. The rooms are not soundproof. If you do not eat your breakfast before 8:45, then it is a Big caos. We Will not be returning.
Room cleaning was bad. The pool is nice and clean. The food is very delicious. The restaurant is clean and tidy, the staff is nice. The staff does not speak English, only the receptionist. The beach is very close. There is a good supermarket opposite the hotel. It is close to Largo Martinez and Loro Park. Parking on the street is bad, there is no free space. The garage is expensive.
Do not go all inclusive it’s a rip off. Cocktails are grim and the room you pay for isn’t what you get. Staff are very rude to the English, I think it’s something to do with coronavirus or Brexit🤦♂️ I had to get 3 plates of food each time I went up as 80% of it was chucked away. Do not let the pictures fool you this isn’t a 4 star hotel it’s a 3 star hotel! Even at the hotel there is it’s name in big letters on the roof with only 3 stars as it looks like one had been removed! Do not get scammed!!! Also bad area, my girlfriend got spiked and then her bag robbed by some crackhead so stay on the other side of the island it’s much hotter and safer :)
This was a last minute (bargain booking) for us due to the COVID isolation restrictions being lifted prior to travel! We are currently on our last night All inclusive in this amazing hotel. The service has been outstanding, not only are the chefs having to work super hard cooking everything, they are also now serving customers too from behind a clear plastic screen. You point to What you want, and they plate it up. You want more, you ask for more and they give it! Drinks are being served whilst seated at the tables. We have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to get through the queue for a meal! It has all been very well structured and organised. The pool bar is smaller, but also excellent service. Inside, masks have to be worn or you will not be served! People have been kicking off about this, but it’s the rules of the country and not the bar man!! The rooms are lovely and spacious, we’ve had 2 adults and a 17 year old (so basically 3 adults) and have lived comfortably in our room with 3 single beds and a large wardrobe. Unfortunately due to the area the weather isn’t the greatest on this side Of the island, and the tall buildings surrounding the pool don’t help with trying to catch some sun, however - we hired a car and drove further round the coast, even 25km makes a huge difference to the weather. The staff have all been amazing, Eli at reception was especially helpful as we had to print our track and trace forms for return to the UK and he did all that for us! Just over the road is a mini shopping centre with a supermarket, and a 10 minute walk away is lago martianez, a beautiful pool complex and well worth a visit! If anyone is staying in this hotel during the COVID crisis, please know you will be safe and well looked after. Unfortunately rules changed whilst we were here, so we now have 14 days of isolation when we get home. Luckily myself and my Husband have understanding bosses. …
The location of the Be Live Experience Orotava Hotels is so great. That area around the hotel is secure and nice and clean. Around the hotel located many old and colorful houses around the hotel, which is great for walking. The health protocol for Corona is very well followed.
