We booked this hotel as part of the cheapest package holiday we could find. Having read through multiple reviews, we (26, young professionals) arrived with the lowest expectations and were pleasantly surprised before even walking though the door. The location? Perfect. Incredible accessibility to excursions to get out and about around the island. Cleanliness? Impeccable. Staff? Patient and kind throughout our stay. The variety of breakfast and dinner was also wide and suited us fine. While sea-facing views do tend to have some noise from the bars below, this tended to shut off around 11pm. We had some cheap foam earplugs which did the trick if we wanted an earlier night. The views are wonderful (picture attached). Our only point of contention - the cocktails are bad. Bring your own drinks to the pool (discreetly) or head to the Gramophone round the corner for a good mixed drink. The fact that people have written that no young people should come here baffles us. We had a fabulous time. Value for money has been fantastic. We had a great time and hope to be back soon.

I've stayed at this hotel for a month for the last three years & the only fault I can find is the lack of heating in the rooms that get cold at night & early morning. The HVAC units are installed but old & in need of referb or replacement. WiFi also needs a tweek as it cuts in & out. UK TV channels 46 & 47 (BBC1 & ITV also packed up after 2 weeks & still wern't working 2 weeks later when I left. Proberly the best part of the hotel is the staff who never fail to please. Will I stay again next year? "Highly likely"!

Would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed on a half-board basis and the choice of food was fabulous. If you couldn't find something to eat that was being offered you must be very fussy indeed! We found it to be quite unbelievable for what we'd paid. We had a balcony room that looked out onto a wonderful seaview and it was large enough to hold 2 sun loungers and a table and chair set. The rooms were clean and comfortable and our beds were made daily. The shower was excellent. The hotel has a lovely pool area and the most pleasant surrounding areas where you can sit and relax with a drink from the bar (Happy Hour was offered between 5 - 6pm) The location of the hotel is perfectly situated along the beach front. We had a really wonderful time here. It's a lovely (if not a little dated) hotel and excellent value for money.

We were a bit apprehensive about coming, we could only get the upgraded premiere rooms sea view if we wanted a balcony at the time.the upgrade was slippers ,dressing gowns, fridge, tea, coffee tray and daily water plus it says turndown and chocs.firsty the upgrades, fridge was handy,we only drink coffee but they didn’t refill everyday, milk only got now & again also water we had to keep asking reception but never got it when we asked so they missed about 5 times out of our 2 weeks.the turn down & chocs was basically a knock on the door then they hand you 2 little chocs, this happened for the first week, then we never got any the 2nd.the sea view was amazing and well worth it as long as you don’t like going to bed before 1230 as the bars outside are very loud, like most reviews say and no sun, although after sitting in sun all day it’s nice the room was cool.the actual hotel was good, lovely location, food was ok always something to have, breakfasts was best.beds are comfy, maids keep them clean. Pool area ok ,although on sunny days get filled up quick so we used the lago pools 5.50 a day. Food and drinks normal prices. Entertainment every night, although we never saw it as 10pm start is to late for us as we like to be out early in mornings walking.my husband had his hair cut , 8 euros that was good.excellent hotel for the price we paid .

Dear user, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We genuinely appreciate your insights as they help us identify areas where we can improve to enhance our guests' experiences. Firstly, we apologize for any inconvenience you experienced regarding the refilling of your coffee tray and the inconsistency in providing milk and water. This does not align with the high standards of service we aim to provide, and we will address this issue with our team to ensure it is rectified promptly. We also apologize for the inconsistency in the turndown service and chocolate delivery. Your feedback regarding this matter is invaluable, and we will work diligently to ensure that such oversights do not recur in the future. We are delighted to hear that you found the sea view from your upgraded premiere room to be amazing and that you enjoyed the additional amenities provided. We are pleased to know that you found the overall facilities of our hotel to be good, and we appreciate your positive comments about our lovely location, comfortable beds, cleanliness, and the variety of food options available. Furthermore, we are glad that you found the pricing for additional services such as pool access and haircuts to be reasonable and satisfactory. Stayed for a week in March 2024. Was our first time in this hotel, second at Puerto de la Cruz. I have to admit, I was disappointed in the state of the room because it was quite worn: the armchair was covered in black stains and so were the curtains, and the shower holder wouldn't stay in place. Also, the toilet seat was worn out, part of the bathroom roof got detached, the light flickered.. and there was rust on the air conditioning machine and balcony rails. However, we did enjoy our stay - mainly because of the location and the food, which were both great. But, to be honest, this hotel needs a renovation quite soon.

We spent a week at this hotel at the end of January. Our room was at the front of the hotel on the 11th floor,it could quite noisy of an evening till about 11.30pm. Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. A kettle and cups were supplied, we picked up a carton of milk from a nearby supermarket as we had a small fridge in the room.We were able to get teabags and sachets of instant coffee from dinning room. Air-conditioning worked well in our room as did wifi both of these were free. The food was plentiful and a wide variety dishes on offer, although could have been a bit warmer. We only went to entertainment one evening and thoroughly enjoyed the flamenco dancers. There was quite a few activities throughout the day ie: bowls darts ect which attracted a few participants. The pool was a bit on the chilly side, but it was January.Lots of sunbeds around the pool and also on the solarium, so we never had a problem finding a couple .Hotel is very central and rooms at the front have excellent views. We stayed on a half board basis.

We were so disappointed with our room. We paid for a balcony room but despite having a balcony the room was so small we had to move the chair out of the way to get into the wardrobe or to the bathroom. The wardrobe is also not designed to hang dresses but when i asked reception for some hangers to hang things on the wardrobe door I was told only premium rooms could have extra hangers! There are absolutely no pictures of this type of room on any of the websites. The tv also took up nearly all of the dressing table so there was nowhere to put anything else. There was also no fan in the windowless bathroom. The bar area is like a waiting room and very unwelcoming. The good things are the location and the breakfasts but we would not return.

Hotel was nice but let down by its food which was presented badly in a noisy canteen environment. Food not the best either; tinned vegetables and fruit. Regardless of meals being included, after a few days we decided to eat our evening meal out at local restaurants which were plentiful, cheap and good. We had a sea view room which overlooked the sea front but received heavy beat music until the early hours from the restaurants below. Rooms not facing the sea were quiet Nice pool and sitting areas

This hotel is in one of the best locations on the sea front. Yes it’s a little tired but it is immaculately clean. We were luckily enough to have room 1301 (two additional rooms are on the rooftop up a flight of stairs) it had two sun loungers and a table and chairs with views of Tiede and the sea, it was lovely. The pool area was lovely, plenty of loungers and a small bar, lovely gardens with peaceful seating. There was a variety of nightly entertainment, a dedicated bar in there plus a bar in the huge foyer. Reception was friendly, smooth and efficient. The dining room resembled a motorway service cafe, I think it needs some planting/pictures to soften it but the food itself was lovely, a huge variety, fried food, cereals, pastries etc. salads, grilled meats in the evening, everything you can want. The staff again were friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again, its good value for the money we paid.
