We’ve had a fab week at the Be Live Hotel, would highly recommend if you want a complete chill out holiday! It is very relaxing, no loud music or constant pool side entertainment which is great! The food is amazing, something different every time and really tasty. Staff are really lovely, shout out to Jose for being a great bar tender! Hotel was really busy over the weekend but got the rest of the week it’s been quiet. Would recommend going to the Lago Martianez - it’s a giant set of sea pools in the resort!
A great selection of buffet food each day (something for everyone). Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Less than a 5 min walk to a black sand beach. Room was clean with air conditioning and a nice view of the mountains. Hotel entertainment was not great and was often aimed towards older adults, as they made up a large proportion of the guests. However, there were plenty of local Spanish bars and restaurants (approximately within a 20 min walk), with very cheap drinks! There were limited sun loungers by the pool, however this was not a problem for us, as we were there by around 9am. Overall, I recommend, as it was really good value for money. Visited for 5 days in August 2022 (English couple in their early 20's)
Nice rooms, a little small. No kettle. little provision inside hotel during the daytime, all outside, poolside. Food was alright. Room cleaned daily, very well. kiosks selling stuff in the lobby and beyond every Sunday. In July, very overcast most days on the west side of the island, we were fine with that, if you are there to lounge in the sun all day, you might not be fine with it.
Not as in photos, the overall hotel condition is very poor. Food is kept in unsafe conditions at high temperatures for long times - we tried the fish twice and believed it tasted rotten. Like most hotels they are really struggling with staff but don’t cut down on the number of rooms occupied which means queues for everything. On our 7 day holiday we never saw the bar without a queue or a sun lounger that was available. There is also no parking available in the area if you’re planning to get a car. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a VERH cheap place for all inclusive but trust me you will end up wanting to be out of that hotel as much as possible.
We’ve just got back from a 2 week break. We travelled as a family (mum, dad and a 16 year old). Loved every single minute. There is a very relaxed atmosphere across the hotel which resulted in us totally switching off. Firstly we were really impressed by the attentiveness of the staff. My husband received a cake on his birthday, we received a bottle of Prosecco on our last day and the staff in the restaurant and bar always knew our drinks order! We’ve stayed at five star resorts before and never had that. All the staff were so friendly and work incredibly hard to provide a welcoming experience. We were also really pleased that the Ladies Euros final was put on for guests on request even though it was outside the bar opening hours. Thank you!! We had lots of space in our room. They were cleaned daily and always spotless. The room attendant spotted we were using a cushion for an extra pillow so provided an extra pillow without being asked. Again, great attention to detail. We had a brilliant view of the sea, mountains and Tiede, particularly on sunny days. Really beautiful! We always managed good sunbeds without any fuss. Mattresses were provided for the sunbeds which made a massive difference. They were really comfortable. The service from the pool bar was great. We didn’t catch the name of the lady who serves in there but she was always friendly and very efficient in running the bar and the pool area. The entertainment was relaxed but a great vibe. There was no pressure to join in anything but we were always asked so politely. The Aquagym was brilliant and we have got a new Spotify holiday playlist from it! The Bingo was brilliant too! There are so many different seating areas for drinks which was lovely at night. Special mention to Viktor and Jose at the bar who always managed to get through any queues very efficiently and with a smile! We were always really impressed with the food. Great choice for all meals and great to have lots of Spanish favourites too. Lots of paella was a real winner and the little cakes for dessert were just amazing! Also would highly recommend the Churros for breakfast with the most amazing chocolate sauce. We also thought it was great how the staff took your drinks order as it just added that extra touch. Loro Parque is only a short walk away and was a brilliant day out. We went to the Flamenco night at the theatre in the town which was fabulous. We really enjoyed the walk into the town and the square is well worth a visit. Yes in some aspects the decor is a little bit tired but we genuinely didn’t think it made any difference as the hotel is so comfortable, clean and spacious. Thanks everyone for a wonderful visit - we will be back.…
I can recommend this hotel. Slow elevators, and missing trash bin at rooms. Personel is nice, and will fulfill all your demands. We had missing towels at bathroom, but we ask at reception, and they bring them in few minutes. Nice bar, Jose is the best barman :).
I have just returned from a lovely holiday in Puerto de la Cruz where I stayed 10 nights, half board at the Be Live Hotel. First, the hotel location is ideal. The beach is a 2 minute walk down the street and about a 15 minute walk to Puerto de la Cruz town centre. There are also plenty nearby shops, mini supermarkets, bars, restaurants and a pharmacy. My room was a twin room with a balcony view. I was lucky enough to have wonderful views of Puerto de la Cruz town, the hills, Teide as well as the beach. The room was perfect. It was a big room and the high ceiling meant it was cool enough on and evening. I did not need to use the air conditioning at night, despite it being July/August! The bed and pillows were comfortable, the bathroom was ideal. The room attendants at this hotel do an excellent job. I'd return every day to fresh towels, swept floors and a neatly made bed. The attendants are also very friendly and will always say hello when they pass you in the corridors. I had a late flight so paid 30 euros for a late check out til 4pm, which was ideal. On my last day, the attendant brought a large, complimentary bottle of water which was incredibly kind. The room also included a safe, a mini fridge and a very spacious wardrobe. Next, the restaurant. Buffet breakfast is amazing. There's a huge array of food from cooked breakfast to pastries, pancakes, fresh fruit and so much more. On an evening, the waiters were very prompt to take drinks orders. The waiting staff are very friendly and the chefs working the stations are also very accommodating and very friendly. Buffet dinner was amazing every night. They have something different on most nights, from veal to paella and so much more. They also have a lovely array of desserts. The pool area is wonderful. Tuesdays to Saturdays there is pilates and yoga as well as aqua-aerobics happening from 11am-1pm. There are a lot of sunbeds and umbrellas and there are tables and chairs by the pool bar you can sit at as well as a lovely sun terrace which has shaded areas, should you wish to cool off. The pool is a good size and there is a much smaller and shallower pool next to the main pool, should you wish to chill out and cool down. Evening entertainment during my stay was singers, tribute acts, even a bingo night as well as a fantastic piano player, Josué López who is very talented. On an evening, the bar is open and you can sit in the entertainment room, bar area, the very spacious and comfortable lounge or out on the terrace should you wish. Finally, I would like to say how wonderful the staff at the Be Live Hotel are. The reception staff are so, so lovely and will do everything they can to help you at any hour of the day or night. The waiting/bar staff as well as the chefs in the restaurant are all very friendly and accommodating. The twins who work here are especially entertaining! One would often perform tricks by the pool with a football, often whilst doing handstands. They hosted a bingo one night which was a good laugh for all. They also were both very kind and helpful during my stay and always greet you with a smile when you arrive at the restaurant for dinner. If the manager of the hotel happens to read this review, please pass on my thanks and gratitude to ALL of your staff. They work so hard, are so wonderful and are always smiling. All in all, a wonderful stay at this hotel in Puerto de la Cruz. It was my first time in Tenerife and I will most definitely be back to the area and this hotel in particular. I will hopefully be back later this year, if not, definitely next year.…
Myself and my sister travelled for a last minute holiday the last week of July. We booked through TUI and got a great deal for all inclusive. We had a great time at this hotel, the staff were friendly and couldn’t be more helpful, the rooms were clean and the pool area was quiet and chilled. The hotel itself is fairly outdated but all facilities are still in good use, our hotel room was on the 12th floor and we had an incredible view of the mountains and sea. The lifts were frequent so we had no issues staying on a higher floor. When we arrived at 1am the room was clean and we were greeted with complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. The rooms were cleaned daily. The all inclusive aspect was very good value for money. The drinks menu had a wide variety of choice and the bar staff were friendly. I would rate breakfast and lunch higher than dinner, due to having more choice. We loved breakfast, there was the choice of a cooked breakfast everyday, alongside fresh pastries, churros and pancakes daily. Often, there were themed nights for dinner which some were better than others, but it was exactly what you’d expect from an all inclusive in Spain so you really can’t complain! There was variety everyday, and we always managed to find something to eat. The location of the hotel is 2 minutes from a beautiful volcanic beach, there is a beach bar which serves great food and cocktails and the sun beds were only €3. The hotel is around a 15 minutes walk from the main centre of Puerto De La Cruz. The hotel itself and the centre of Puerto De La Cruz is very quiet and chilled. I would have preferred the hotel evening entertainment to have more going on, they had a few singers perform but the atmosphere was very quiet. Despite this, we still had a walk into the centre regularly or sat on the deck outside and had a few drinks. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a chilled week, and a very good value all inclusive. We would definitely come back for exactly that😊…
The hotel was nice looking and the staff was friendly. Rooms were old and dated and floor tiles were moving under your feet. The fridge was leaking every day on the floor under it. Rooms were still dusty after everyday cleaning. The view was so nice from the room! Breakfast was terrible, warm foods were still a bit raw and fruits were raw too. Only bread and eggs were good. Lunch was the same, raw and tasted bad. Don't pay for breakfast or other foods in the hotel! There were good and affordable restaurants and breakfast places very near the hotel. There were a lot of drunk loud people in the hotel because of the all-incusive option. The pool area was ok, pools water was cold! There was a quiet sun bathing deck where people was quiet and we liked it so much! It was located in the sunny side so there were sunshine all day. The beach near the hotel was unswimmable. The waves were beautiful but you can't swim there, ever. The sand is blackish lava stone, it looks very interesting. There were a lot of up and downhills so consider that before you come in this area. Your legs will be in pain after first two days 😅 but you will get used to it. Taxis were very cheap and we used them all the time. The sun was shining till two o'clock and after that it was cloudy for 4 hours and then the sun comes out just before it goes down. It was so weird and it happened every day! The weather was weird because of the mountain.…
