Well... let's start with the cons, because that's what you're searching for right? Cons: [ ] Coffee machine bugs - the all inclusive coffee machine near the pool had some kind of dead earwigs inside that came out with every other coffee!! Obviously it hadn't been serviced for a while... so get your hot drinks at the bar outside of meal times! Staff did put it out of service for deep cleaning immediately. [ ] No food on arrival - we arrived around 11pm from the airport shuttle. As dinner was no longer open, we were told there were snacks but there was no food. We were directed to Burger King a short walk away down a steep hill, which we didn't expect for all inclusive. [ ] Noisy outside - our room was road-facing on a minus level floor. The road was quite noisy with cars and people every night at all hours (even a reversing rubbish truck). We had to both wear earplugs. [ ] Raw chicken - the chef cooks some food in front of you at all meal times which is great. Just check that it's cooked all the way through. [ ] Signage outside - there is no hotel sign outside and the shuttle bus driver didn't call any of the stops, so be prepared to check your location on arrival. Pros: [ ] All staff nice - every staff member said 'hola' with a smile every time we saw them and they all seemed genuine. [ ] Very clean - the site and area around the pool were spotless and there was no rubbish anywhere. [ ] Comfy beds - the beds and pillows were so comfy! [ ] Rooms are cleaned quickly and by a nice team. Other stuff: [ ] Evening entertainment - 1/4 acts good and many differ from the photos. [ ] Entrance for food hall from minus level rooms - there is a back door that is only unlocked for breakfast and dinner, and not clearly labelled. You may need to use the main entrance. [ ] Lots of steps! Take walking shoes, take a taxi for buggies and wheelchair users. [ ] The hotel is near to a shopping centre, Sitio Litre Garden and Calle de Agatha Christie.…
I just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at this hotel. They were so attentive and welcoming. The waiters and waitresses were brilliant as were all the chefs, On arrival we were met by Jabber and Juan. They were so so welcoming and it may our stay so enjoyable. The hotel needs a little TLC but the staff more than ,Ade yo for it. Our waiters, Pedro, fransscio, Armond were all so attentive, I highly recommended this hotel for a lovely welcoming place to stay. Many Thanks Parveen The Spice Queen.
I arrived late after 11 pm nothing to eat at the hotel kitchen closed I was given a room down in the dungeon with worms caroling on the floor so next day I did have a good breakfast and I asked to chang my room which they did with a see view and a balcony that was great but I paid for it 135€ but what made my stay great is one man he is the bar man who does the best cocktail drink and at the hotel bar and he have the best attitude to a the client I wanted to be there every night so he can create some amazing cocktails thanks for making my stay amazing.
I had a room with a nice view towards the sea. The room was clean and had a good size. Breakfast was fine as well and it is possible to sit outside in the garden. Everything was fine, I can recommend the hotel.
I stayed here towards the end of February and the hotel was by no means full. This meant I was given a room upgrade which provided me with a huge balcony and views towards El Teide and the sea. This balcony had a small round plastic table with two chairs, two sun loungers and a small clothes line. The room had a large wardrobe with sliding mirrored doors and plenty of clothes hangers. There was a safe, but it was to be paid for at reception. There were two single beds pushed together and a large divan. Although the room was large, there was just one easy chair. There were two bedside tables. On a long desk sat a television and underneath the desk a small refrigerator. There was a chair for the desk. The bathroom had a walk-in shower (not a bath) and a bidet. It was a good size. I was on half-board. There was an enormous choice of food at both breakfast and dinner, of very good quality. Both meals were buffet-style. I thoroughly enjoyed my meals here. I thought the swimming pool was too small for any serious swimming and in any case was circular in shape. There was a small fitness room, but with all the equipment you could expect. There was also an exchange library. Staff on reception were fluent in English and were helpful and polite. The hotel is on a hill: in fact a five minute walk uphill from where the resort is flat, which is where there are two large supermarkets. The bus station is a twenty minute walk away on the other side of town. There was an area at the front and rear of the hotel for hire-car parking, but they did not look particularly large. I enjoyed my stay here and would have no hesitation in returning. …
Stayed for a week and despite being a bit dated and needing some areas refurbed (mainly carpets) it was a pleasant stay. Highlights were the breakfast (didn’t eat dinner here but heard is wasn’t that good) and the fact that you had to go on a mini hike every time you left the hotel (we like walking!). And the cocktails made by Ivan were very good, he’s very good at his job and his service is great, in fact all the staff were nice and hard working. It’s kept very clean. It was our anniversary and they very kindly left us some fruit, fake rose petals and a bottle of fake ‘champagne’ on arrival which was a nice touch.
In general it’s a nice hotel with nice rooms and well situated in Puerto de la Cruz, I can’t complain nothing about the hotel only the staff exactly the receptionist rudeness was just bad. Bare in mind at this hotel they have limited parking spaces which is nowhere advitised, this wouldn't be a huge problem but the way the treat you if you parked in the wrong/unauthorized parking space is just awful. We had a long day being away the whole day, on my return we parked on the yellow line which I knew it's not permitted but obviously it wasn't space and nobody let us know from the beginning in this case what we should do. So I ve got a ring from my care hire agent saying that ai have to move quickly my car as the hotel complained. So went down 10 minutes later asking in a nice manner where I should park as there are no space's. The receptionist was saying well it's obvious and you can clearly see you not supposed to park there where you did. So she take a map drawing where I can park saying "You can park in this places" like everybody else does, or you can choose this place for 6 euros/day. The problem was the way how she spoke... Also If somebody would clarify this from the beginning ut wouldn't be a problem. Well this was rude and very unprofessional I will not come back only because of this reason as we should be nice to each other. Have some manners as your the receptionist I m the customer. So if you want to pay extra for parking or have a nice walk just because they don't have space's go ahead.…
Me and 4 friends ( YOUNG STUDENTS) stayed here for a week. First of all, the hotel is so pretty & clean & modern. The location high up in Peurto de la Cruz gives you amazing views and the surroundings of the mountains and beach are truly relaxing. Being students, we stayed in the cheapest rooms. Which was honestly like staying in a fancy premiere inn hotel room😅. We were not disappointed for space and cleanliness of facilities. Once again.. the views were beautiful. The food was great! If you’re not a food critique haha. The breakfast was the same everyday, however, the options were plentiful and and drinks provided was enough to keep us satisfied for that week. The meal in the evening was different every day of the week! And the food was amazing quality! One night we even had sushi.. which I love. Dessert was also different everyday and was sooo good. We loved all the fruits 🫶🏼. All in all, we all found the food to be of amazing quality and taste. Just pick the right stuff! The entertainment and drinks at the bar in the evening was great, especially when your with the right people. So much fun, seeing people even get up and dance. There was also a pool table which we had a lot of fun with! The staff are so friendly and helpful too. Especially with organising transportation to Siam park. Generally, Peurto de la Cruz (Being north of Tenerife) is more of a location where older people go on holiday for a relaxing experience. Based on how beautiful and tropical everything is. So there aren’t many night clubs or entertainment for younger people like ourselves. But still, we don’t regret our choice whatsoever. The location of the hotel is high from the town (not far) but there are steep stairs to get to town which older people might struggle with. Thanks for the great experience ! :) P.s they even make cute hotel magazine souvenirs you can buy where your pictures on the cover.…
I’d a 4th floor sea view which was lovely. Large balcony and large bedroom. Big bathroom with modern facilities and large walk in shower. Breakfast provided a wide variety of food and there was very little queuing so a well managed restaurant. Lovely pool with nice views over town. The hotel is up a hill but you don’t need to be fit to walk up but pushing a pram or wheelchair would be a challenge. The hotel is extremely clean and quite, I have no complaints at all.
Wife and I just stayed here on the second floor. Included breakfast is nice, not to my taste, but 4 stars for variety and accessibility. Ocean view is obstructed by large hotels on the water, but not bad. Nice view of El Teide. Worst thing was the toilet in our room ran LOUDLY all night, and the Wi-Fi was spotty at best. All in all, a mixed bag. Would look at other options next time.
