Long review but I dont want to leave anything out! We're just returned from a week at this beautiful hotel. Myself, Hubby, Mum and 19yo daughter. Having had a bad experince earlier in the summer at a hotel in Cyprus, we were slightly obsessed with Trip Advisor ratings when choosing this holiday. This hotel rightly has amazing reviews and we're so glad we chose it. It's well over an hour from Tenerife South airport, dont let that put you off. The scenery changed dramatically when we were past the capital Santa Cruz, it's so beautiful, green and lush on this quieter side of the island. Arrival and check in was quick and smooth, we were shown in to lunch and then onto our rooms. We asked if our second room could be changed as it was at the end of the building and a little noisy from some construction work below. A lovely PR lady showed us an alternative and we were moved to the other side of the building right away. The rooms are all nicely decorated, modern, clean and comfortable. All with views of the beautiful gardens and pool area from the balcony. The food was fantastic, lots of choice every day. Fresh omelettes and pancakes at breakfast along with the usual full English & continental. Lunch and dinner had live cooking stations offering meat, fresh fish and huge king prawns. The paella one night was a highlight. Lots of salads, pasta, fries, canarian potatoes, vegetables, so much selection. We were invited to try the A La Carte restaurant one evening. I believe it is something new they're trialling and in future may be available for an extra fee but we were not charged. It was lovely, it felt a little more exclusive, we enjoyed a delicious 5 course set menu, with 5 * service, would recommend! We were All Inclusive and the drinks to our surprise were all premium spirits and mixers. The AI selection was huge, draft Amstel for my lager loving husband, Cava for me and a fabulous selection of colourful and beautifully presented cocktails. We spent each evening on the terrace enjoying the drinks and live music from the bar area. Entertainment wise, its pretty quiet compared to some hotels we've been to but we enjoyed the chilled out vibe each evening after being in the sun and swimming all day. The pool is great, big, clean and loads of sunbeds every day. The best thing though about this hotel is the staff. Every single one of them was always smiling, attentive, happy to help, they really are an asset. I wish I could name every one but a few who stood out were, the PR lady (didnt catch her name) Manu, Eugene, Neidhi, Susana, Jessica, Daniel, David & Emanuel. After we got home, Hubby realised he couldn't find his Airpods. The next day he got a call from the hotel, asking if he'd forgotten anything, he mentioned the Airpods and they said they had them as the maid had handed them in. They have now posted them. Amazing service, we thought they were gone. We plan to return next year and we can't wait, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in north Tenerife. …
