Hotel's Favorite
First time in Tenerife and this hotel was the right choice for location, amenities and customer service. Bonuses: the Spa that I would advice to all to try, and food to die for. Overall a fantastic stay and I couldn't recommend more.

Great things: •Hotel cleanliness very clean •Rooms basic but nice, great bathroom, comfy bed. •Hotel food (half board) both breakfast and tea, amazing •Location of hotel in the village, close to everything. •View from our room (after an upgrade) out onto the ocean metres away. All be it very cloudy •Charming village suitable for couples not too lively •Pool area is good but we didn’t use much as weather was poor Very very close to sea/beach a range of restaurants Mediocre things: •Restaurants triple price of the south •Hotel drinks over priced £5.50 for a beer •Food outside of buffet overpriced •Staff; mixture of friendly and grumpy •Busy at teatime on buffet, lots of covid restrictions, masks, gloves etc Not great: •Room View (before upgrade) looking out into at building sites •The weather, sun didn’t come out until 4pm or not at all (was told this is normal) travelled to the south 4 times (car hire, coach) because skies full of grey clouds most of the time although still hot The South was sunny every visit •Many places in village closed due to covid restrictions Including hotel gym and spa which we obviously paid for as part of hotel price and couldn’t have access too. (Not their fault but no compensation offered) •drinks facilities in room non existent, no fridge so bottled water went warm quickly

During our stay restrictions had recently changed which required all guests to provide a COVID certificate of vaccination or a negative test at check-in (this restriction applies to all bars and restaurants on the island if you wanted to sit inside). As you can imagine this causes check-in to be slower. The staff were very apologetic to guests waiting in line but if your a reasonable person you have to accept this is the new world we are living in. At least you have peace of mind the hotel guests are safer as we have all had to follow the same procedure. The hotel is complying to all restrictions in force and you are directed to follow all procedures including social distancing in queues, hand sanitizer available, masks to be worn and plastic throw away gloves used when serving yourself food at the buffet. An approximate time you would like to have breakfast and dinner must be provided so as to control the crowds. The hotel and rooms are very clean and throughout tastefully decorated. As a previous guest has written though there is no atmosphere in the hotel it’s all very quiet. We found the whole resort to be very quiet to be honest. The last thing I must mention is the hotel staff. They cannot do enough for you. We especially would like to show our appreciation and thanks to Maria (at reception) and Belinda (restaurant manager) these members of staff are outstanding extremely competent at their jobs and really made our holiday an enjoyable one. Thank you!!! A last tip is, you are allowed to settle your bill before hand and at checkout day drop your key into a post box. We had transportation waiting so this facility was welcomed. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Overall nice and clean hotel. Breakfasts were good, rooms cleaned daily and pool area good amount of loungers and quiet (although hotel was not at full capacity by any means). Staff generally helpful and friendly although pool bar lackadaisical. No information anywhere in hotel or rooms of amenities and not aware as not told / given item when checking in that need ticket for pool towels (although were free). Safe in room chargeable. No atmosphere in hotel and no entertainment at all. Room upgrade so not facing a grimish street was 10% of holiday booking. Beach nearby is rocky in water and largely unsafe unless willing to risk bruises/bashed ankles. Hotel in good location. Parking charge extortionate . Puerto suffers from limited parking overall.
