As others have said good hotel staff marvellous who work very hard. The only grouch we had was this hotel uses the QR CODE system which means no menus available. We are not into the latest technology! We have heard of QR code but that's it. If you would like a drink or food at the pool bar no menu available you order from your mobile once the QR code has been activated. My mobile didn't accept the QR code reception sent me an email with all attachments for the pool, restaurant and bar etc. But we couldn't be bothered with that, we went outside of the hotel and spent our money elsewhere where we could view the menus at our leisure. We spent very little money at the hotel, all of the restaurants and cafe's were very pleased to take our money! I would say this hotel lost out on making money and I know others staying at the hotel felt the same as us, they also spent their money elsewhere. Not a good business move! Noisy construction work from 8.00am

Hotel's Favorite
Although I do agree it isn’t a 4* hotel I have found after many holidays that British 4* compared to foreign 4* hotels definitely differ in terms of little extras. Myself, my sister and my 2 year old daughter visited this hotel at the end of June and I have never stayed at a hotel that’s made me feel so safe and comfortable with my child or that is more child friendly. The staff honestly made her holiday, one lady in particular who we didn’t catch her name taught my daughter how to make a love heart with her hands and she still talks about it now 2 weeks after we have come home! They were always playing with her and making her (and us) laugh it was so special and we can’t thank them enough for their time and effort! Hotel wise - those complaining about the food must be extremely fussy. Breakfast there was lots of choice right down to your usual continental, cooked English, cereals, salmon, pancakes, omelettes etc. and the evening meal had similar food like spaghetti and sauce or stew alongside a different theme every night- we experienced Chinese and sushi which were our favourite. Plenty of choice and always delicious and warm. And every night they cook 2 different types of meat or fish which was lovely to try some new things! The area itself was great for little walkers and little kids, if you hop on the loro parque free land train you can get off at loro parque and walk to down to a gorgeous little village which has a beach with sea access as the beach near the hotel is sand but the closer to the sea the more rocky it gets so we found we couldn’t let my daughter in! Loro parque is a must aswell. Rooms comfy and clean, although we should’ve upgraded to a sea view however we were barely in our room so we weren’t overly fussed for the most part. The bar man in the in and out bar was fantastic! Everytime we went he made my daughter a special mocktail which was complimentary and she loved to the point on the last few nights she was saying I wonder what he’ll make me tonight! Yes the weather is slightly more cloudy in the north but surely people do their research before booking, this isn’t the hotels fault. Overall a fantastic day, lovely staff and clean hotel. Thank you so much for our lovely stay!

My wife and I have just returned from a 1 week stay at the Sol Costa Atlantis. The reception staff were very friendly and always helpful. The food was lovely but the restaurant did get crowded at peak times, but good selection of food and all good quality. The rooms were spotlessly clean and cleaned every day. On the day we checked out, we had a late flight and the reception staff let you use the spa to shower and change before leaving the hotel. We stayed one day by the hotel pool but we found that the hotel obscured the sun by 3pm, therefore we went to the martianez pools which are only 500meters away on the sea front which we found better thank the hotel pool. Our room overlooked the street but when we return we will definitely book a sea view/pool view room as the view of the big waves rolling in from the Atlantic would be perfect to watch with a good bottle of wine to pass away an evening.

It was a nice hotel. The check-in was very quick and smooth. it was nice of them to give an early check-in at 12 noon on a higher floor. The room was a normal standard one. The view from balcony was quite good. Since we stayed only for one night and left early morning next day, we could not use various facilities of the hotel. Its location was very good, very close to the beach and promenade. Worth trying...

We stayed for 3 nights. The lobby was nice, the room standard but clean. We had two double beds pushed together. We didn’t use the pool area which I must say did not look like the photos on love holidays. We did enjoy a couple of drinks in the bar during two evenings. Which was a nice area to relax and enjoy the entertainment. The breakfast was nice with a lot of variety. The service was fine but we spent most of our time out exploring.

A bit disappointing. The food was very poor quality and for vegetarians there was very little choice other than salad, disappointing to hear that no vegetarian dishes in the specials for the themed buffet table most nights. Cakes/donuts were all clearly shop bought. The bar staff made the alcoholic drinks very very strong, pouring half the bottle in a g & t which was not palatable. Would have bought more drinks if they were better. The room was not clean upon arrival and there was a dirty sock there from previous guests. The pool was very cold despite the warm weather. The Bali beds were for extra charge which meant no one used them which was a shame. The gym was lacking in equipment- but had great views. No complimentary drinks or a mini bar or fridge in the room made the hotel feel stingy. I feel that a few small changes could make the stay much better. I am hopeful that it will improve as I would love to stay again. The positives of the hotel: It was incredibly beautiful (the bars and lobby and outdoor area are lovely looking) and a fabulous location on the promenade front. The staff were all friendly and nice. The hotel was not overcrowded or loud and felt friendly. The room was comfortable and fairly modern with a good size TV. I would like to return but it needs improvements first.

We spent a week at the Sol Costa Atlantis and it was excellent. I’ve now been to Tenerife five times and this hotel was by far the best I’ve stayed in. The room was mostly very comfortable, I just had a small niggle about the very hard bed. We upgraded to an extra large sea view room and we loved the extra space, and the fridge. The breakfast buffet was amazing, really a huge choice of different options, and the fresh fruit was fantastic. We enjoyed sitting around the pool area, especially as there were so many sunbeds available and the pool was never too crowded – and no loud music blaring out either. Every member of staff I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. One thing to bear in mind, our balcony got little sun, but this wasn’t a problem for us as we don’t like sitting in the sun for too long.

First of all this is a lovely hotel and I don’t agree with people who say it looks dated ! (It’s not) Arrived and was greeted by fabulous reception staff ! Room was lovely well sized beautiful view bathroom and shower amazingly lovely loved the big head in shower . Air conditioning worked very well . I think some rooms have drink facilities ours didn’t but I have a travel kettle anyway so felt prepared for that scenario! Cleaners very polite and friendly! You have the option of room being cleaned everyday ! We prefer to not have this everyday as it’s not necessary to have clean towels everyday ! Even thou we declined with a snooze sign the cleaners always asked “ are you sure u don’t want room cleaned or anything you need “ they were amazing and worked hard and always friendly . This hotel on the top floor has a spa and wow it was amazing ! Small fee for 1 and a half hour that includes towels flip flops sauna and steam room ! Lovely relaxing way to start the day . Breakfast was lovely so much variety fruit cereal yogurt meat cheeses toast rolls cakes full English u name it they had it ! Including tea coffee and juices and sparkling alcohol I think ! The lifts worked very well all week no problem ! The only time we had a wait was weekend and I think it was quiet busy so understandable. Pool facilities great really friendly life guards and a bistro for drinks and free pool towels when u used sunloungers. Hotel is situated right in the middle of everything all u need is to be able to walk and choose where to go ! Would definitely recommend this hotel can’t fault it even saw a wedding over the balcony which was so cute !!

Lovely Hotel, friendly staff, rooms clean, bathrooms fine, location ideal. The downside is the FOOD...his hotel does not seem to know the meaning of hot food...everything from breakfasts to evening meals are all on the lukewarm/cold side which is a shame, also the hotel seems to cater more for the Germans/Dutch and not so much for the English. All dishes are not always labelled so you really do not know what you are getting unless it is a recognisable dish. A fellow guest complained to the management and also had a word with the chef but all to no avail. We would not go back to his Hotel, the room we had was on the tenth floor but overlooked an apartment block across the street and as the windows did not have any net curtains to give at least some privacy so were on full display . Would recommend getting a pool/sea view if going to this hotel.
