4 nights here as a contrast to staying in our rather rustic house in La Palma and an anniversary treat. Perfect small hotel in a stunningly dramatic location beneath cliffs and our room had a sea view, it felt like you could almost touch the sea from the balcony. Good quality food, friendly but professional service, good WIfi, great big... More

Our stay at Paradores in el Hierro has been really disappointing. The building is in really bad conditions and no maintenance has been done in decades. The bed and furniture in the room seem to be the original from when this was built. The doors to the balcony don't shut closed because the wood of the doors is rotten. There... More

The location of this Parador is stunning yet disappointing. It sits on the beach rocks at the foot of a tremendously high mountain escarpment. The hotel is at the isolated end of a dusty beach road with nothing at all anywhere near the building. This could be either excellent for a get away or awful if you don't have a... More

The hotel is situated in a remote location and is ideal for a peaceful relaxing break. The bedrooms are comfortable and reasonable spacious and the bathrooms well appointed both having all the amenities you would expect including robes and slippers. All rooms have balconies with either mountain or sea views. The rooms are serviced daily and are kept clean and... More

El Hierro is a small island with only a very few hotels. It is therefore no surprise when I say the Parador is without doubt the best hotel on the island. That however does not do it full justice and we really enjoyed our 6 day stay. Firstly, let me deal with the location: The Parador is on the East... More

This was our final accommodation at the end of a walking holiday. We took a footpath down from the top of the volcano and wouldn't do it again. There are two footpaths, one of which has been closed for over a year, although there was no indication that it was closed at the bottom of the path or on the... More

After a week of diving in La Restinga, what a treat to chill out for 24 hours in this comfortable hotel tucked away in a little corner of El Hierro. The beds were oh so comfy and the rooms welcoming with all creature comforts. The breakfast spread was excellent as was the spa. Very friendly staff.

We are staying here now. What a stunning place El Hierro is and this hotel though a little dared and quaint fits the mood of the island perfectly. If you are coming a car is essential as it is very remote. It is a walkers and photographers paradise. Perhaps more suited to older people, not really for children. The only problem... More

Tucked nicely away from anywhere, this Parador gives the discerning traveller all they can possibly require. We had a sea view, which was worth the extra cost, staff, we're so helpful Meals and service superb. Yes I would return for a completely relaxing stay where any worries fade in an instant. Thank you
