Three stars perhaps do not do this hotel justice as it is probably as good, if not better, than many places on El Hierro. The rooms are clean and functional. The beds are good, as are the shower and bathroom. It is just rather basic and there is no restaurant - which is fine unless you turn up on a... More

This hotel is situated near the church in this quiet town. The owners are pleasant and helpful. The room we were in had a small balcony. Room size was good and everything was clean. A good bathroom with lots of hot water. The hotel is extremely quiet. There is no restaurant but cafes are a short walk away. The room would... More

Casual hikers to El Hierro. Spent several nights in this hotel. Clean with very comfortable beds ! More importantly, the hosts Bernardo and his lovely wife were so helpful and kind. Great Island to visit for complete relaxation, would certainly return and stay at the Boomerang. Many thanks. Pamela and Andy

Lovely clean and week located hotel with very friendly proprietor. Ask him how the hotel for it's name. Answer is pretty obvious but he's delighted to chat and share his bay knowledge of a wide range of subjects. Hotel is located just below and within short walking distance of town centre and if you have the good fortune to be... More

The Apartahotel Boomerang, located in the quiet and sleepy Valverde, is only 10 minutes from the port by car and a great home base for day trips around El Hierro. The rooms were simple, clean and very comfortable with a great view from the balcony. The owner greeted us as we arrived late one night and without reservations. He was... More

It is not a Hilton but very good in its class. Clean, facilities a little old fashioned but work. Though the hotel does not guarantee parking there should be no problem. I was looking for the rooms for 3 people and the hotel's offer was surprisingly good - a sort Of apartment with 2 bed bedroom and a living room... More

We wanted to spend a little time on El Hierro and chose to stay in the capital Valverde and hire a car to travel around the islands. The hotel was fine for a short, 2 night stay. The hotel is a little old-fashioned in style, but very clean and comfortable. We arrived late at night and the lady on reception... More

Don't forget that before Columbus El Hierro was "end of the Earth". And in some sense it still is. Not much city excitement in small town of Valverde, but tranquility and calm. If you go by car it can be bit tricky to find street, but than you can easily park there. Simple hotel with big room and nice view... More

We arrived on the island late and it would have been difficult reaching our final accommodation so we had reserved a room in Boomerang for the first night. The hotel was just as we expected. We received a friendly greeting from the owner and considered the the room to be of good quality. The reviewer who complained of the cold... More

Valverde is a very quiet place so don't expect too much of anything except relaxed people, & restricted opening hours. Hotel Boomerang is situated near to the main church & it's plaza & all of Valverde is at your mercy, probably within 15 minutes to each end of it. Only thing is, if you are on foot, there is going...
