Webpage suggested it and I went ahead, without looking at it twice. I was first put in a room on the ground floor with no windows as such. I requested to be moved, and was put in a "smaller room" but with a window, on the second floor. They have basically tried to push that building to its limit, and they've overdone it. The on-suite bathrooms are not appealing. Some creepy-crawlers do share the room, wherever you stay in the hotel. It's basically cheap, and that's what you get: a cheap hotel with very little to offer.

Thank you for your comment about your station in RK Bora Bora The Hotel. We regret that you haven't felt comfortable in our hotel. We are really sorry that the rooms have seemed to you small and without ventilation. If you want to stay in another time in our hotel, we will give you a bigger room and with windows. Kind regards. My opinion goes around the fact that it is not worth the money you pay, I wouldn't complain if it was cheaper, but I've stayed in Las Palmas for the same price at places a lot better. The room was ridiculously small, I didn't expect that by looking at the pictures. The bathroom door didn't shut, the shower was tiny and one of the bathroom towels was dirty. Also, the body and hair soap they give you smells awful and it's very bad for the skin, and also it is in this old plastic bottle in the wall, it has a very bad presentation.

The floor of the room had a lot of hairs and the walls were paper thin. Also, some guys from rooms next to ours were partying in their rooms until very late at night, we could hear everything and nobody told them off. We didn't mind that much because we tend to go to sleep late too, but I'm sure other people would had minded.

Also, the "hotel" is not in a very good area.

As a positive thing, it was well decorated, and they give you a bottle of half a liter of water for free. As I said before, if the hotel was cheaper I wouldn't complain, but I was expecting something very different and got very dissapointed.

I don't recommend it, there are a lot of places with a much better quality-price.

We stayed here for a week in Feb 2014. The hotel was not really as the pictures portray. The room
Was small, no windows.. The sink was dirty on arrival and it looks like they have never swept under the beds. Our room was next to the lobby and it felt like we were actually sleeping in the lobby.. You could hear every word, very loudly. One resident decided to Skype a friend and we were woken at 6am every morning as if he was in our room shouting.
We had no toilet roll for two days and had to eventually buy our own. We decided by Thursday after having no water at all in the room to check out and went to another local hotel and booked the remaining two nights there.
The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the roof terrace which was nice, but more than 4 people and it's full..
Staff seem friendly but I wouldn't be returning.

Me & my boyfriend booked up from the 26th of December to the 2nd of January for a Christmas break, ended up staying for 2 nights and paying 600€ to move elsewhere! Hotel was very basic, so basic that it shouldn't even be called a hotel as its a hostel! whenever someone in the hotel flushed the toilet the water running was very loud through the building waking us up during the night. Location was terrible for any sort of civilisation! In our 2 days in las palmas we did not find 1 person who spoke a little English. The final straw at the hostel was coming back to police vans and officers in the hotel. Please don't go here & put yourself through this ordeal! I wouldn't put my worst enemy in here!

When I arrived, I already paid. However, the rooms were so dirty and the room on the last floor didn't even have a proper lock. I needed to walk outside before I could enter the room and there was so much laundry hanging outside in front of the door. WIFI didn't work at all and the rooms were so tiny! The pictures are really misleading! Finally I decided not to stay and went to another hotel. I am a low budget traveller and I never left but this time I really didn't feel comfortable.
I would definitely not recommend it!

The family room was horrible - tiny, narrow, shabby, ugly and the bathroom was just a joke! Wifi worked only in the lobby. If there is anything good it is the location. But - I would rather sleep outside next time!

Not good at all. We stayed in "familyroom", which was way too small for group of 5. The roof was full of mold and the room smelled nasty from chemicals. There was only one small window in room. The bathroom's door was broken. Can't be recommended.

Cons: Cleanness: bathroom was not clean!!
Noisy: it really depends on the other passengers but you can easily hear them from your room.

Pros: Staffs were super kind and helpful. Free coffee and biscuits were available all the time. 10 minutes walk to Las Canteras beach.

This hotel was chosen as a one night layover in Las Palmas, before going to the south of the island.

To cut right into the review, you get what you pay for. It is tiny and basic, but clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
First impression from the outside facade is a warn out and rather suspiciously looking hotel. That feeling ease up a little, when curving your way to the small reception desk, where you will get your key and the Wi-Fi password by the friendly staff. The small lounge right next to the reception, offers coffee from a small machine, Big screen TV and cozy sitting places.

We had a room on 1. floor. It was small, but it could hold a TV, double bed, closet and a bathroom. About the bathroom, lets be honest, if you are bit oversized or long legged, you will have some challenges to fit in the shower cabin and sit on the toilet.

Pros:

Clean
Affordable
Friendly and helpful staff
Not far from the beach promenade and local busses.

Cons:

Tiny room
Small bathroom
First impression from outside was not good

To sum up:

You probably won't have great expectation when you buy something which is cheap, this is exactly the same with this hotel. Don't expect much, but you will have a clean and decent environment, to have a nights sleep. This is for the budget traveller, who just want a place to stay, but don't want to compromise on a clean and safe stay.
I would not mind book a room again, if I just needed a place for a few nights.
