Although this hotel does not have sea views, it is in a central location and about 30 seconds to walk to Playa las Canteras seafront and promenade. This area is the best part of Las Palmas with its lovely beach, shops, bars and restaurants. Our room was modern, clean and comfortable, but although we were on the 6th floor we still could hear quite a lot of street noise from lorries delivering goods, even when the window was closed, so this hotel could benefit from double glazing.
Overall we enjoyed our stay on our first visit to this capital city.

When it comes to the rooms, this is definitely one of the more basic NH hotels I have stayed in, however the location is second to none. Right in the heart of Las Canteras, you have the beach a 10 second walk away, along with all of the shops and restaurants you could possibly need.
Breakfast here is great, a smaller selection compared to the bigger resorts, however here less really is more as it is wonderfully presented and of a high quality. (Good canarian products on offer too). Having my breakfast whilst over looking the beach-front location is always a highlight of my stay.
Again, the rooms are pretty basic, on the smaller side and fairly dark (and I always seem to be unlucky in terms of the view from my room) but if you aren't going to spend too much time in the room, the location really does make up for it.

Our reservation through booking.com fell through, and we were desperate to find somewhere to stay the night; this is at 5pm in the evening. We found the NH hotel, and it was brilliant. There are 2 in Las Palmas fairly close to each other, and we were delighted with the room. Very friendly and helpful staff booking us in and the following morning, checking us out, including offering to help us with our luggage. Great location, bang on the beach, at the nice end near the better restaurants. We haven't stayed with this chain before, but we'll look out for it in the future. Room very clean, bathroom great with very good shower, window looking onto forecourt, which was fine, and within walking distance of everything!!! We'll book with NH again and thank you to the staff for being so helpful and kind, plus recommending some great local restaurants.

We are staying here because of our company. 3days from january 20-23, 2024. No problem with food and housekeeping service. Some of the receptionist are very nice also specially Justin. He was very accommodating. But this guy in the night shift, he was very rude and racist. Maybe because we are ASIAN that's why he speaks sooo rude and with no respect. We were in the lobby around 11 or 11:30, he just turn off the lights while we are drinking. And that happening is tonight! I'm really disappointed together with my colleagues. If we did something wrong or what, he should talk to us with respect, not in anger. Really a very rude guy!

We booked a twin room with terrace to be told there were none when we arrived. Had to move to an inside room with opaque windows onto the internal shaft. No restaurant, no bar. Only positive was the beds are comfy. In dire need of an upgrade. Way to expensive for the standard.

There is no pool, but we are pretty close to Las Canteras Beach, because of it's climate, it's safety and it' beauty, one of the most beautiful beaches in Gran Canaria.
Beach towels are available at reception.

The hotel has an off-site parking place, it is a special agreement with the parking called "La Puntilla", it is located 100 meters walking distance, 500 meters away by car. If you previously book a the parking place with the hotel, you will get a fixed price of 12 eur a day, tax incl. If you go by yourself it will cost around 14 eur a day.

We have some rooms provided with 3 single beds on the same space, it has also a private bathroom, but not two separated bedrooms. IF you are looking for this kind of accommodation try the Nh Imperial Playa Hotel, they have a Junior Suite on the top floor in front of the sea, it has a bedroom and a separated space for an extra bed. Thank you for asking.
My partner and I had a top floor room at the front of the hotel.
It was a large room and had a big balcony with furniture. The view was mainly of the adjacent rooftops but it was pleasant to sit outside and enjoy a drink. Very few of the rooms have a balcony and we upgraded because we wanted one.
