I absolutely loved this hotel. It was just my kind of place, from the unusual 1960s architecture to the helpful staff and central location. Yes, it was annoying that we didn't know the rooftop pool would be closed for repair but to be honest the weather was shocking for most of our stay so it didn't matter. Yes, some bits of the building leaked a bit in the torrential rain but it all got mopped up and the bedrooms were spacious and very clean. Yes, quite a lot of the guests were Spanish but do you really want to travel somewhere abroad and find yourself staying with the rest of your flight from Stansted? If you do, head to the south of the island instead... The food was nice and reasonably priced and it felt like home for the week we were there. The staff were all nice and seemed genuinely to enjoy their work - priceless. …
Rooms are very tired. The curtains do nothing when it comes to light in the morning. The breakfast is ok but the dinner made us just walk back out of the restaurant when we seen the buffet. Very greasy. The pool is dirty with feathers and other bird nasty stuff. It definitely needs to be painted. One girl on reception was very nice the rest not so much. The area is very rough. Beggars and homeless everywhere and most other buildings beside it are closed down or in the stages of being demolished. We left after 3 days and came to the south of the island. Not the hotels fault but if your not Spanish some of the other guests are not exactly friendly towards you.
Good location for transport links. Close to best part of the beach. Rooftop pool a bonus. Food has good selections and views of the beach area are fabulous. Free use of pool and beach towels. Not really any views from the room but why would you stay in your room when there is do much to explore. Staff service is very good.
Budget hotel located a stone's throw from the amazing beach. Check in was smooth and quick. Room is adequate, two large singles pushed together. Dressing table and couple of chairs. Shower very spacious. Awful view of street, but was used as a base only. Mini bar /fridge with price list. We moved all minibar contents to bottom of fridge and used for our own water/drinks. Aircon was ok but not great. Made sleeping comfortable. Rooftop pool area has great view of the beach. Shame you couldn't get drinks up there. The bar is located on the ground floor. Pool is cold and barely used. There was an unpleasant sewerage smell on occasions and the spinning metal airvent looked damaged and makes a loud rattling sound. Restaurant has amazing views. Breakfast was average. Bacon eggs beans tomato. Sausages and real butter not offered after the first couple days. Fritatta made of egg and chips and what appeared to be a dish of mixed veg chunks. Pastrys, cereal, bread, cheese and meats, fruit, pancakes and churros which were overdone. Juice tea and Coffee was good. Reception staff were excellent and very helpful. We couldn't have a late checkout. But we were given a key to a room to go shower and freshen up due to being booked on an overnight flight. We could also store our belongings in back room. One thing I did like was leaving our room key when heading to the beach. On one occasion though we were handed the wrong key and hadn't noticed while we'd gone straight up to the pool terrace. Maybe they should ask to see the hotel 'credit card' so as to keep guests rooms secure. We used my blue light card to keep the fridge on and come back to the room to find the maid had taken it. Fortunately they managed to track it down and return the following day. So don't use a card you might miss. If you find your weather to be cloudy, head to the bus station and catch the number 30 to playa del Ingles. €6.25 each way. Very hot, loads of little shops bars and restaurants.…
Staff are really friendly, rooms are clean with updated bathrooms. Breakfast is great. 100yds from the beach, couldn't fault it really. No noise at night. Stayed as a family and would happily stay again.
Great location, great desk service and roof terrace and pool a real bonus. Breakfast had everything you need. Only criticism is that the hotel are not replying to emails re. Lost property left in the room on the day we checked out, which is sad and leaves you wondering if the item has been taken rather than handed in.
The hotel is located very good, close to the beach and downtown. The staff is very helpful. All in all a very good experience and nice rooms. The pool at the roof was so nice. The breakfast was good and there was a lot to choose from. Would definitely recommend!
I just back from a Jet 2 weeks stay - 7 floors in the hotel we were on 3. Massive new bathroom excellent shower and facilities. The room was very clean and nothing to fault. The staff were super friendly and any questions were answered and dealt with quickly and professionally. The restaurant floor 6 firstly has panoramic views over the beach were soo nice! Food was varied and always plenty of everything. The beach is less than a 1 minute's walk and the hotel is close to many bars and restaurants. We got the bus from the airport to Santa Cattalini ( Aquarium ). Was only a 5-minute walk to the hotel - the Bus fare was about 5 euros and took 30 minutes. I would recommend the Concorde to anyone and we will definitely be back.
We flew Jet2 city break. This hotel is very close to the amazing beach and promenade. The hotel has 7 floors and includes a swimming pool with solarium, a restaurant that overlooks the sea and a bar off the reception. The choice of food is very good and includes hot and cold dishes. We found the staff to be exceptional- nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant serves a buffet menu that changes daily. We cannot recommend this hotel more highly. I recommend getting a taxi to and from the airport cost 32 euros each way.
The hotel needs renovation , the hotel is advertised as 4 stars but on my opinion its only 2 stars at the moment. The good point its the very good location, beach at 1 minute , shops, downtown , all nearby . Very good location for the breakfast restaurant, also food was good. To expensive, i would say . Almost 100 eur/ the room, which was not 4 stars.
