The building of this Parador expresses in its architectural forms the mysteries and enigmas in this Canary island and invites the guest to enjoy themselves in this paradisiacal setting and to contemplate, from its common rooms, unsurpasable views of the ocean and of the island of Tenerife in the background with the Teide peak.

This parador was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and always very willing to assist. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A challenging walk down to the town was a struggle, but there were always a large choice of taxis that assisted us back up the cliff. We would

They have an excellent restaurant with table service. Limited menu which only changes a little each day - but all the food is great and is the same fir hotel guests and outside customers.

There are no in-room tea/coffee making facilities. However, the hotel has a restaurant offering full board and a bar open till late evening - should not be a problem to get hot water or a cup of tea most of the time. Sending a special customer request directly to the hotel might be a good option. Ash

Do the standard rooms all have a balcony with sea views or do I need to upgrade to a suite ? Thanks
We were on the ground floor and could open our room up to get lovely views of the sea and we often sat outside for some shade and drank and read. Lovely calm atmosphere.....
