Grupotel Tamariscos garners acclaim for its friendly and attentive staff, significantly enhancing guest experiences. The hotel's cleanliness receives high marks, although some guests note early morning disturbances. Rooms are spacious with breathtaking views, yet a few reviewers suggest they could be updated and quieter. While the atmosphere is generally appreciated, the noise level and need for modernization are sometimes mentioned. The hotel offers good value, and its prime location with scenic sea vistas, easy beach and marina access is celebrated, though beach amenities may add extra cost.

This was our first holiday abroad since 2018.
We had a lovely relaxing week staying here. All the staff were helpful and very friendly giving us advice on buses and car hire etc as the Saint Joan festival was also happening.
The room was a little tired in places but it was kept very clean by housekeeping who replaced towels daily and changed the bedding I think 3 times in the week. Air con isn’t great and beds were firm.
Breakfast was a typical buffet affair with everything from fruit and cereals to full cooked breakfast with all the juices, teas and coffee.
We used the pool area overlooking the beach and sitting under a parasol reading/snoozing with a breeze was wonderful after a swim. Plenty of loungers available and towels for the pool available at reception for a deposit and small fee to change for clean ones.
We really enjoyed strolling to the marina in the evenings and trying out the restaurants.

My daughter & I have just returned from our 1 week stay here (b&b) & I have nothing negative to say 😊 Every single staff member was friendly, welcoming, attentive & professional. The situation was exactly as described with only a 5 minute stroll to the marina & a leisurely 2 minute walk from the beautiful beach. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis & ours was spotless & well appointed & had probably the best view (C210) of the rugged coastline & the sunset behind the lighthouse- great restaurant serving amazing modern & traditional tapas as well as a la carte. The pools are clean with lots of space to relax , again with wonderful sea & coastal views.
I would recommend Tamariscos to couples young & old & families with young children…the ones that don’t need splash parks on site!! Maybe some people would want a more boutique feel but it suited our needs perfectly, a totally relaxed vibe. Loved it ❤️

My said and I stayed for 4 nights and could happily have stayed for the month. Gorgeous room with stunning sea view, 2 pools, no race for loungers as these were freely available all day. The bar / restaurant was a fair price food was good and breakfast had lots of choice.
The staff in all areas are incredibly helpful and always smiling. They were helpful with questions and always kind and friendly.
The rooms were clean and comfortable with good kitchen facilities including a hob. No cloth or washing up liquid supplied but lots of mini markets close by. Pool towels available for a 10€ deposit.
There is no music or entertainment here, which we loved, but the hotel next door would be audible from some of the rooms. Our air conditioning worked really well, and it was quiet to sleep with it on.
Location - amazing location right on the coastal path. Stunning sea views from every aspect, able to walk straight from hotel onto beach .
Gluten free / coeliac - staff were knowledgeable and were able to suggest foods which were safe. Breakfast had a good range of gf food but did not have anywhere to safely toast bread. Fresh fruit and yoghurt and hot options were the other foods which were safe. There was no option for gf pancakes or pastries. In nearby supermarket ‘Top market’ we found some frozen gf baguette which are cooked safely in the bag - they are gorgeous, and the restaurant was happy to cook it for us. Chips and gf pizza was offered from the snack menu and the Pizza was great!
In the local area there are so many food options. Venezio offered gf pizza and pasta. Piccolo was very knowledgeable and were able to make many options gf. They went out their way to accommodate my daughter’s coeliac needs. Supermarkets offered various options and Top market had the best selection.
Overall we loved it and would return in a heartbeat, we had the perfect few days.

This hotel has the BEST views, right on the sea front. Sitting at breakfast looking out at the sea is lovely. The breakfast selection is good and a small lunch menu is available in the bar from 12. Our apartment was clean and spacious, perhaps in need of a bit of an update in the future as the beds were very hard. We didn’t have a kettle in the kitchenette but after letting reception know, one turned up about 20minutes later. We had a lovely sea view over looking the pool, the sunset was fab. The balcony furniture is chunky plastic and not comfortable!
There are 2 pools, one on a tiled floor that has a view of the beach and one on a grassy area overlooking the sea. We frequented the grassy pool as it was very quiet during our weeks stay meaning it was easy to get a sunbed although the sunbeds aren’t the best and a couple of them were faulty/dirty, which is a shame.
The beach is a few minutes walk away, you can pay for sunbeds or pitch up on the sand. Was extremely busy by lunchtime as it’s quite a small cove. There is no entertainment at the hotel but the bar is open all evening and they were showing sporting events (Wimbledon final) on the tv but it wasn’t overbearing. We had a 3year old with us but he was very much occupied by the pools and beach, we choose this hotel as we wanted a quiet and peaceful week. There is a small slide and swing set and a mini golf area.
The marina is a 5 minute walk with a selection of bars and restaurants and a couple of small supermarkets. We didn’t venture out of Calan Bosch but the bus stop outside the hotel gets you to Ciutadella. The hotel next door can be noisy but we couldn’t hear it around the grassy pool but know some apartments could hear a bit of noise from their evening entertainment.
The staff at the Tamariscos were friendly and polite and overall it was a great stay.

The room was spacey and fitted with microwave, hob, fridge, kettle, toaster and TV in both lounge and bedroom, rooms were cleaned on daily basis. The hotel staff were very friendly and would do anything to help. The hotel itself was right on the beach and was next to the harbour were restaurants were every few yards. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I’m here at the moment and writing a review because every time I look at the incredible view, I just feel so elated!! A great hotel with the most incredible sea views you could want. My studio apartment room is basic but so clean and has everything! There’s a lovely welcome kit with shampoo, body lotion and body wash and even a comb! They even have a sponge and washing up liquid for the kitchen area which I’ve never had when staying in an apartment at other hotels. Nearly chose another hotel but so pleased I chose this one. Thank you for making my stay so great already - not even been here for 24 hours yet! Definitely recommend.

Apart/ hotel needs to be refurbed the area when you go into your hotel room looks more like a motel and the walls are paper thin that you hear everything in the other room. The rooms are tired and the air conditioning very noisey when you put this on to go to sleep. The cleaners start very early cleaning the rooms so hear them cleaning from 7ish in the morning with there cleaning trolleys and not ideal when on your holiday .
The beds are so hard and not very comfortable and no improvement with a bed topper but the sofa bed more comfortable. The best part of the hotel is the position of this by the beach to one side and Sea and Cala n Bosch the other side . Breakfast quite basic with fried eggs left barely warm and omelettes so thin and does not taste best of much .The fruit as lots of fries lots flying around and would be best covered over. The coffee machine is good and the setting is nice overlooking the sea .

Tamariscos is situated right alongside the coastal path and is only two minutes walk to the Cala'n Bosch beach. A few minutes walk on the other side of the hotel is a pretty marina, surrounded by restaurants. The hotel is clean and bright throughout, although just a little tired in places. Our room (two bedrooms, kitchen/lounge, bathroom, large balcony and enormous roof terrace) was huge and very quiet with a wonderful sea view. There were a few maintenance problems initially, which we reported to reception and which were dealt with within the hour (Excellent response). All staff were smart, polite and very friendly and the variety and quality of the food provided for breakfast was excellent. All in all, a great stay.

There are definite themes which have appeared in previous reviews, great location, quiet and relaxing, lots of sun beds but tired/dated hotel in need of a refurb… I would certainly agree with all of these.
We had an uninterrupted sea view (C110) a 1 bed apartment which was great but the balcony was disappointingly small and would be too small for any more than 2 people
The apartment was well equipped but a tea towel or cloth would be helpful for the kitchen
Lots of sun beds but so many were broken
I would probably have given my review a 3 but the breakfast was surprisingly very good with an omelette station, coffee machine , lots of sweet treat and even Cava so I’ve pushed it up to 4!
The resort is only a few minutes walk away and had enough restaurants and a few bars for our 4 night stay. It has a laid back, relax feeling and most of the visitors are young families (under 3) or over 40’s. It was ideal for us. It’s an hour transfer from the airport.
A 15 minute walk to the lighthouse for sunset is lovely, we took a bottle of Cava and sat on the rocks,( there is a bar/restaurant there but the menu wasn’t for us and there is a 15 euro entry fee for drinks only ) but take bug spray!
Overall a very enjoyable holiday.

When we arrived we knew we would be staying at a 3 star, hence the rooms are a bit battered. The hotel has such good potential if they just revamped it. Bit of new paint etc.

The view is stunning and one of the best I’ve ever had.

Sun beds for everyone! I was worried there might be sunbed wars but this is definitely not the case here!

Hotel staff have been very good and I didn’t once experience anybody being rude.

Breakfast is decent and they have more than enough for everyone.

The location is great and just a walk away from the beach and marina with good places to eat and drink.

Now for the bad.. unfortunately the Spanish have let us down in being very loud. On the 3rd night a group of teens decided to play games and be very loud outside our room. The staff did help move them on.

Our room was located right next to the neighbouring hotel and it is very noisy during the day and evening.

Our room was also located next to the car park and drop off (if you get a room, try and get one nowhere near the road and ask to be nearer the beach side). As our room was located next to the road, there would be groups of people shouting and being loud as soon as they exit their cars.

This is something unfortunately the hotel cannot do anything about, it’s down to the class of people you can get. I think because the Spanish are in their own time zones they forget people are trying to sleep at 2am.
