It was our 2nd stay at this family run hotel and it was every bit as good as the first time 5 years ago. We had a balcony with sea view, comfortable beds, ceiling fan (which was very welcome), and shower over the bath with plenty of hot water. Everywhere was kept spotlessly clean. The continental breakfast has been improved since our last stay. We especially liked the dark brown bread and ensaimadas that were offered every day. We had breakfast outside by the pool most mornings, until the wasps arrived. There is also a bar offering coffee, soft drinks and alcohol, which does an excellent, and potent, pomada. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main square with plenty of restaurants and cafes or to the harbour. The owners, Joan (Juan) and Maria are very friendly and speak quite good English among other languages. It’s been rated as a 1 star hotel, perhaps because of a lack of lift and no evening meals, but we’d personally give it more stars and will definitely stay there again in the future.

Back again for I think for the 19th or 20th visit. Since the sad death of Alex last year Jon and Mari have worked hard to keep up the improvements and this shows. As usual a very enjoyable stay, comfy rooms and a very good Continental Breakfast served till 11am.The rooms are not airconditioned but there is a ceiling fan which worked for us. The Town is definitely moving more upmarket as it were, The marina now seems to be full with a lot of expensive yachts. We shall be back next year!

Leave hotel turn right walk toward the sea follow the road round to the right come to the marina. Lovely quiet comfortable room and nice breakfast. Pool open till 10pm! Very nice indeed would recommend.

Stayed here on a cycle tour round the island. Can't fault it. Said it was a one star so arrived with slight concern however that was quickly relieved. It's situated in a residential part of town, quiet and quaint. Turn right out of the hotel and walk to the sea and it's a very pleasant ten minute walk to the marina. Room is basic but has all your requirements. Has a ceiling fan which was perfectly adequate. Shampoo etc and hairdryer are provided. Has a small pool and bar. One slight complaint was paying to store my bike which was just sitting in a stand outside. Having spent the previous night in a 3 star which was dreadful and staying in this hotel which was a one star I think the island needs to review its star rating. Would highly recommend

Always looking for something intimate and of good value and this hotel hits all the points. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood a block away from the sea and 15-20 minutes stroll to the port. The gracious owners are your staff and guides, very accommodating and helpful. The hotel is simple but clean. The rooms are without phone and the shampoo in a sachet, but they quite comfortable with a nice breeze and a fan. Be aware there is no lift and all is at least one flight up. Breakfast is fairly simple and basic but also only 6 euros. We had a wonderful stay.
