I used to stay in Melia hotels before and I like their style and approach. The lobby is nice, very good smell, i was checked-in by a very nice, friendly lady. The room was with a sea view, standard type, but quite spacious, with balcony. The bathroom, however, is very small and tiny, but nothing you can do about it. Everything you need is there, apart from iron and iron board (upon request). Those items could be added to the room, in my opinion. There was a housekeeping minor issue upon arrival but was addressed directly in the hotel. Very good breakfasts. With a variety of local dishes. The hotel is recommended.
Lovely hotel, with friendly staff, amazing breakfast. Bus Stop close by. Palma centre close. Try to have a room high up for fabulous views. Great balconies very spacious. Would definately recommend this hotel.
This hotel's customer service was shocking for a Melia. Very arrogant. I almost think that some of the staff think that because they classed as a luxery 4* hotel and have Pilots and businessmen staying, they will not need to provide a friendly service to sell their 'exclusive' rooms. I ate in the restaurant and the standard of food was good. I was meant to stay 24/2-28/2, but checked out on the 25/2 and found somewhere else where the customer care was excellent ( see my other reviews ).
The hotel was quite good and in a great location. However the staff comes across as a little bit disorganized which is probably also why they ended up double charging me, simply because they are disorganized.
We stayed at this hotel during a short city break. The staff was friendly enough but there never seemed to be enough of them working at any time. Just asking a quick question meant you'd end up in queries behind people checking in or checking out. Could really do with having a concierge type person alongside the 'normal' staff. Maybe they provide that in peak session? Double room was nice. Breakfast wasn't included in our price but after seeing it, we decided to go for it. So worth the 9 euros /person /day. A huge buffet offering a mix of healthy and non - healthy items. Domestic as well as international options. Sets you up for the day very nicely.
