Travelers commend Hotel Palma Bellver Affiliated by Meliá for its vibrant atmosphere and live events, yet some areas and rooms, while spacious and offering good sea views, are considered in need of modernization. Guests appreciate the cleanliness across the property and the amenity offerings like the pool and breakfast, but note that room noise can be an issue. While the staff's friendliness often receives praise, there are occasional concerns regarding service disorganization. The hotel's location is appreciated for its convenience, despite some disturbances from nearby roadworks. However, guests feel the overall value could be improved, citing steep prices for the experience provided.

Very friendly and helpful staff whether on reception, in the dining room or maintaining the room. Upgrade from standard to sea view room well worth the modest additional cost with tremendous view of Marina and sea beyond. Room and facilities good ,clean and comfortable . 15 minute walk in to the Old Town along well lit footpath very good. Would recommend and stay at this hotel again.

We stayed in October during a surprisingly hot late season short break.
The hotel is extremely well appointed with a really welcoming lobby and reception area, a spacious lounge bar, pool and restaurant.
The staff were very polite and helpful at all times, and were willing to speak to us in English or be patient with our attempts at Spanish.

The room cleaning staff were a true treasure who always left our room absolutely immaculate every single day. They are worth their weight in gold.

Check in and checkout were very easy and we were able to leave our luggage in a store room when we arrived very early from our ‘red eye’ flight and when we were able to stay in Palma for a long day following our checkout. The reception staff also organised a taxi for us to get to the airport.

The breakfast was AMAZING with something for every palate.
The pool was refreshing and enough for a quick refresh.
The pool side bar was a pleasant alternative to bars in or near the town. Prices were marginally higher than other bars, but for the convenience, it’s a small price to pay.
The traffic on the main road outside the hotel was a little noisy at times. The glazing in the room easily removed the noise though and we slept like lambs.
The views over the harbour were spectacular and we enjoyed watching cruise ships arrive and depart in the evenings.
Around the hotel were several restaurants, cafes, bars and cycle and car hire shops. The old town in Palma was approx 20 min walk away ( for two relatively fit 40-50 Yr olds!) . The beach of Cala Mayor was 25 mins away on a bike, mostly flat with some small inclines. ‘Maps’ suggested a 1h 08 walk to the same.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Paid around 1500 for a week. I reserved a premium room with sea view. Basically compared to a regular seaview room it has a nicer view from the balcony and a Nespresso machine (I know because my friend who travelled with me booked a regular seaview room).
The problems below might seem trivial but when I am on holiday paying 4 star money (hard earned), I expect to relax and have a pleasant stay with no issues. After all I am on vacation paying them to make my stay a pleasure.

1) very long check in and check out (no way I have to wait 20 minutes in line). At check out it took 5 minutes to just print the receipt.

2) I had a dinner at the restaurant the first evening. It was around 9.45pm and there was just 1 table with 2 people. There were in total 5 member of staff in the room (the dining room was quite small: around 15 tables). So a lot of staff and basically nobody in the room and still I had to call a staff after around 10 minute waiting to just get the menu!
Then it gets even better...I call the waiter to order and the waiter comes and tell me that if I want to order I must call only that member of the staff (he points at a lady) because only she has the iPad to take the order...I am disappointed and puzzled. So I ask him "And if she is not around?" and he replies "then you can call me". I am even more confused and disappointed. I just want to eat and feel relaxed.

3) I had a Nespresso machine in the room but I could not use it on 2 occasions as no Nespresso cups were left (also no sugar and milk were left on other occasions). I was disappointed as I like to have good coffee soon after waking up looking at the seaview. I paid a premium to have that nice feeling.

4) I had a problem with the TV and called reception. They told me that the technician would come. Then I politely asked how long I should have waited and the receptionist replied abruptly: "How should I know? I have not asked the technician yet!". How rude!

In general: careless staff (they looked and probably were quite tired). I understand that the job is not easy (used to be a waiter during University), but hospitality is their line of business and clients pay 4 star fees and should receive a 4 star treatment in return.

I will not stay again in this hotel.

From the outside and reception this is four star but step out of the life and it is two star flooring on the landings and carpets in the room are a disgrace.
Have taken some photos to prove me point .
With a four star i would expect a walk in shower not a bath with pipes
Would nor recommend staying there and would never return until it was refurnished.
The traffic noise is crazy not only cars but late night bars we was on the eight floor but never had one nights sleep

We did room only as we don’t do breakfast. If you want it you can book it for your whole stay for €12 pp/on or €15 if you turn up.
Our room was large and spacious, beds were comfortable.Rooms were clean although didn’t clean our cups or refill tea/coffee and shower soaps until asked.
Take your own tea bags and get some milk from the local shop a few doors down.
If you can go for a sea view, the back view is not pretty!
Pool Towels are available at poolside but you have to ask the lifeguard.
Poolside - be very careful it’s slippy and dangerous. No signage and came a cropper.
In fact we found all the tiles inside and walking out treacherous if wet.
Taxi from airport 15mins -€20
Walkable to city with ample bars and restaurants. Old town lovely, keep walking towards the cathedral.
Cala Major Beach worth a visit if you’re a beach person. Can imagine it’s horrendously busy in Summer. We got a taxi there , 10mins and bus back. Bus takes you on the back road of the hotel so check where you get off.
Great place a short break.

Just back from a very relaxing stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived to when we had to say goodbye, every member of staff was just so lovely and helpful. Hotel is modern and the room and bathroom quite big; we paid extra for one of the superior sea view rooms which was worth it. Lovely shower gel and shampoo dispensers in bathroom with a nice selection of personal items such as toothbrush and toothpaste. The breakfast selection is huge and the coffee is decent, always a clean table available. The pool area is lovely and they provide fresh pool towels everyday; it goes into the shade around 5.30pm which means time for drinks !! The lifeguard is also a lovely chap and always popped by to say hello. Chilled water in the lobby all day, great to come back to after a busy and hot day sightseeing in the city centre.

Cannot say anything negative about this hotel, however, I did miss a glass of cava at breakfast, but that’s just me ! Do give this hotel a try, you will not be disappointed.

It is worth paying for Premium Room Sea View - plenty of space in the room with great views of the harbour. Slept very well, room very clean, all staff helpful and welcoming. Only had breakfasts but good choices available in a spacious restaurant. Only downsides = alternate days sausages were cut up hot dog ones (the other days very good) and the toasters (arghhh - whose idea where they?)
Would definatley stay again.

We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful hotel, we paid a little extra for a junior suite and WOW what a view, the whole appartment was spotless and the comfy bed was HUGE! Towels and bedlinen changed everyday if you wanted and housekeeper so friendly. During our stay it was my partners birthday and after a day of sightseeing we returned to our room to find a chocolate cake, Cava and 2 glasses complliments of the manager which we thought was such a lovely gesture. The location is ideal for buses into Palma and there are plenty of bars which serve food within a 5min walk. This hotel is top class and would definitely recomend staying here.

This hotel's customer service was shocking for a Melia. Very arrogant. I almost think that some of the staff think that because they classed as a luxery 4* hotel and have Pilots and businessmen staying, they will not need to provide a friendly service to sell their 'exclusive' rooms.
I ate in the restaurant and the standard of food was good.
I was meant to stay 24/2-28/2, but checked out on the 25/2 and found somewhere else where the customer care was excellent ( see my other reviews ).

It’s not ideal if I am being honest. There was a large crane outside lifting heavy glass up but I was there in May so might have changed since then. The pool area was nice and the reception but I thought the rooms were dated

It may depend on where your room is, i couldn't hear or see any of the road from my room so wasn't affected. the main issue for us, was it just doesn't look very nice all along the seafront road and crossing can be difficult due to the regular crossings being boarded off.

Hi only the deluxe rooms had tea/coffee making facilities. Instead of paying for one of these rooms, we chose a sea facing room & took a travel kettle.
