Our family stay in October in this hotel pleasantly confirmed the good memories we had of our previous stay as a couple, a few years ago.
Our apartment for 3 people was rather simple in terms of furniture, but large enough, well equipped with a very practical little kitchen area. A large double bed with a sofa bed (not super comfortable for a week's stay). A small balcony with a view of the swimming pool pleasantly completed our accommodation on the 3rd floor.
The hotel is well equipped. Outside, a beautiful, particularly clean swimming pool with sun loungers and covered relaxation areas. Inside, a small sports hall with good quality equipment, a restaurant open until late in the evening, really handy if you don't want to go to the city center in the evening.
The food offered is very good according to my preferences, the snacks on the menu are rather original and delicious, some with a welcome Asian touch. The lunch buffet is varied with original products that change daily, I am thinking in particular of sandwiches, delicious smoothies, or even yogurt mousses, all of course homemade.
Still on the subject of catering, we were touched by the surprise spontaneously organized by the kitchen team for our little one's 5th birthday, very nice, really thank you, it was really very chic!
A hotel certainly not located in the city center, but which remains easily accessible and which benefits from a very good location. A 10-minute walk away is the 'Porto-Pi' shopping complex which includes a great play area for children and a gigantic, very practical Carrefour shopping center.
A few downsides to note: a 30-minute wait for check-in, only one employee at the reception desk and a group of German tourists with obviously a serious billing problem. The paid safe, in my opinion, should be free like in many hotels in Europe but it remains a detail, and the wifi can sometimes be a little capricious.
If we have the chance to return to Palma, we will without hesitation choose this hotel again which seems recommendable in every way.

Once again choosing this hotel for its tranquility and treatment received. Guests tend to return year after year because of the guarantees they offer in terms of services, because it is a safe bet, and it also has unbeatable prices for the season. It is worth highlighting both Elena's treatment at the front desk and that of Mónica and Dulce in the dining room, as well as that of all her colleagues, resolving the doubts that I was asking them and adapting to my special needs (I am celiac). .

Location of hotel is uphill place on southwestern side of Palma de Mallorca which is actually "hotel district" and hotel is surrounded whit many other hotels. There is a mini market 50m away.
We did not have care but there are parking spaces in front of a hotel.
Reception and lobby is comfortable and nice area.
Room was fair enough with balcony. We did not have kettle and fridge was empty upon our arrival. The safe required prepayment of few euros at reception to be functional.
We reserved baby cog which was nice and comfortable. Adult beds were seperated and connected in bigger bed but it was not good idea. Also, beds were not so comfortable and the frame of adult beds was not so firm as it should be.
Other room facilities were fair enough.

The hotel is a modern concrete cube, modernly designed, kept very clean, but unfortunately very, very thinly soundproof. From 7.30 in the morning you can hear the first vacuum cleaner, the doors slam shut very loudly, it is not possible to sleep any longer. Even at night you can hear the party guests talking in the next room, the chairs being moved in the rooms echoes strongly, probably due to the concrete ceilings. And the loud slamming of the room doors is also annoying at night. The staff are friendly, but careless in making arrangements. It is a shame that the pool closes at 6 p.m., because hardly any guests are back from their tour by 6 p.m. The location is not nice, but it was almost impossible for us to get another 4-5 star hotel at the time of booking. It was the presidential meeting of the EU states and the royal family was visiting the next day, so it was difficult to find very good hotel rooms. The breakfast was great if you were in the breakfast room early enough. Some guests who arrived later did not have a good selection.

The first meeting with the hotel gave us a good impression, clean and pleasant staff.
We arrive on a Saturday afternoon and we learn that the drains in both the shower and sink in the room are completely blocked. We are told to wait with it until Monday as they don't have anyone to repair it on weekends. The same applied to wheels on the beds? They got that taken off on Monday.
Air conditioning in the hotel only works either on or off, it was not possible to set degrees. It was then either very cold or very hot. We asked the hotel staff if something could be done about it, they were going to sort it out. It ended up with no air conditioning in the hotel for the last two nights.
The rooms are very noisy, so you can hear guests outside the room/in progress, the cleaning staff who talk loudly and clean the rooms from 07.00 in the morning. It was not routine to clean the room before 9am, but we still experienced it 5 out of 7 nights.
The breakfast is perfectly okay, not very many choices and it is not topped up along the way with cold cuts/bread if needed.
We had been looking forward to this trip, which was also very nice, but the hotel disappointed us. If we travel back to Mallorca on holiday, we will stay at a different hotel.

Lovely staff and a great stay. The pool is lovely and we went during the middle of July, when we expected it to be very busy and it was never packed with people at the pool. They have great beds outside too, in case you want some shade. They do everything they can to help you, if you ask. Danielle especially, really looked after us and was a great energy. They have a 'gym' which is basically a treadmill, cycle, step-thing, a bench with a barbell rack (very low weights though), some kettle bells and some dumbells (also very low in weight). To get to the hotel is a bit of a climb, as are the others that surround it but it is very conveniently located near an area called Portopi, which has a load of chain restaurants/ cafes, a Carrefour (which was a lifesaver for picking up breakfast/ sandwhich bits) and a bus stop that goes to Palma in 20 mins and 20 mins, the other way, to Illetas - which was an incredible, quiet-ish beach cove, with crystal clear, clean water and lovely sand.

Good location above the outer marina of Palma. Decent amount of parking for the location. Service at reception is friendly and professional, but there's no real lobby with nice seating - tough times if you have time to kill. The rooms are a good size but somewhat empty, and not much thought and care has gone into decoration - there is none. Tricky to find a good setting for the AC, it only seems to know 20 and 25 degrees. Modern, nice bathrooms, internet it free and fast enough. Cleaning crew does good work but should be more flexible as to when the clean the room, I often times had to leave early in the morning and found the room to get cleaned at mid-day when I come back. Small underground gym with very high humidity. Pool area is okay, but no city or sea views. Breakfast is good for €5 per day, but I bought and brought my own, fresh orange juice, the one they serve is way too sweet and tastes artificial.

I don't understand the many good reviews. The hotel is in an unpleasant residential area on a hill. You need a car or a taxi or a bus to get to the center as it is 4 km outside. There is nothing worth seeing around the hotel except for a good pizzeria 10 minutes towards the harbor on the right. The rooms are older, the bathroom has been recently renovated, the carpets and doors in the hallway are old and very thinly soundproof. Breakfast was very good, everything you could wish for, except for fresh omelettes. The bar is adjacent to the breakfast room, but closes 10 minutes before midnight, and you are then rudely escorted out! The staff at reception were very rude and incompetent. We had to pay for the rooms at midnight when we returned from Palma, which we found very unusual!! So for us it is clear that there is no reason to visit this hotel again or to recommend it to other guests.

Clean, lovely hotel, big rooms & the staff were lovely. The area this hotel is in lets it down. It’s in a residential, run down area a short walk from the commercial port. If you’re booking here for a cheap holiday near palma it’s not worth it. There’s very little (if any) bars and restaurants nearby. Only the shopping centre nearby was worth visiting and the only place that felt safe enough to walk to in the daytime. There’s no nice resort within walking distance, palma is an hours walk or €8 in a taxi, Palmanova is €20-25 in a taxi and then a short walk into Magaluf.

Stayed one week at BQ Augusta. The area was very quiet. .The location was perfect for my purpose of the visit (seminar nearby) but it may feel a bit far away from the city centre for a regular tourist. There are busses going to the city centre, and the walk to the centre along the harbour is very pleasant. The room and bathroom was very clean but the room was very warm since the air con was not working properly, Nothing much happend after I told the reception (this being November it was not a huge problem though...) The breakfast was good, the staff friendly. The gym was very small but very clean. All in all I think this hotel is recommended if you dont mind staying a bit away from the centre of Palma, and wtih this price I think it was a bargain

I would say that it is not located near any beach as firstly it is in a residential area up on a hill and it is located in the port side of the city . You could probably take a bus which you would get two streets away which take you to a beach at illeas . A bout 20 minutes away . However this hotel although very nice is not a beach hotel.
Dear Anthony,
Thank you for your question. Of course you can leave your luggage until check in time in our free of charge luggage room.

Dear James,
Best option in order to get to the hotel is taxi or public transport (bus). Taxi option will cost you aproximately 25€ and will last 15/20min; the bus (nº 1), about 3€, will last 40 min. and then 10 min walking uphill to the hotel.
With warm regards,
