I´ve been in many pet friendly hotels in Spain, but this is one of the best that I´ve ever been. The staff is one of the most proffesional, friendly and always with a smile in their face. Since the moment you are doing check in, having lunch in a restaurant or relaxing on sunbed in the pool the feeling that you have in the hotel is GREAT!!! We spent 15 days in August and just can recomend this property for your halidays in Mallorca.
A disappointing Sheraton experience. This is the Marriott brand which I have raked up the most nights. It started with the poor check-in experience. We were asked by the receptionist to pay additional 50 euro a night for our 3 year old who still prefers to sleep in our bed. Our 1 year old was exempt from the additional charge. It was my own fault to assume that young kids can stay for free in all hotels if they sleep in their parents’ bed. Second point to note about the check-in experience was the long wait for the room to be readied. I appreciate that I was able to redeem my Suite Night Awards for an upgraded room, but we waited 4 hours for the room to be ready. The unsympathetic receptionist didn’t offer an alternative. Before Starwood was bought over by Marriott I remember being offered a temporary room on several occassions to rest if the wait was going to be long. This would have meant that our kids could have got their afternoon nap in a bed in an airconditioned room. The Kids Club at the hotel was another disappointment. The staff who worked there can’t be more disengaged and uninspirational. I will need to be very desperate to leave my kids there. It seems that the staff were arbitrarily plucked from the streets. They are either playing table tennis with themselves or are just sitting there waiting for the kids to leave. Thinking about it, any random person would probably have been better. The final point of discontent was the breakfast area. Nothing wrong with food and staff as they were exceptional considering that they were understaffed to handle the peak traffic. If there was someone to point fingers at it would have been the management. The evening before there was heavy rain and this meant that the chairs outside were soaking up all the rain like a sponge. I wonder why no one would have thought to remove the cushions so that they would be dry in the morning. Anyway many guests ended with a wet bum after their breakfast. Including ours :) Despite the discontent, there are many good things about the hotel. Our room was immaculate thanks to the housekeeping staff. The common facilities are are a great fun for kids and adults. There are 3 outdoor and 1 in door swimming pools. Our kids truly enjoyed the pools. The gardens are nicely maintained and there is the scent of flowers everywhere. It kind of feel like paradise. In terms of platinum elite member perks. The is no Club Lounge. Breakfast if free. Late checkout (2pm) had to be confirmed the day before. Attitude of frontdesk staff is polite but sometimes a bit stuck up. But generally speaking members of staff everywhere else are very nice. If you have been spoiled like us as a platinum member at other Marriott hotels, then don’t expect the same to happen here!…
Beautiful Property with an amazing kids club, amazing pool and wonderful gulf course. I highly recommend this property. The kids club is large with lots of activities and pools. It is separate from another large and Beautiful pool. The grounds are glamorous.
Beautiful hotel. Hotel itself, gardens and pool area immaculate. More traditional Spanish style property but with everything you need for a comfortable enjoyable stay. Staff are fantastic - friendly & eager to make your stay as good as possible Location is brilliant - golf & tennis on the doorstep & 10 min drive into Palma.
