We went to have lunch at Sindeo restaurant because we had seen the menu while walking by one day. The menu was very extensive and it said the kitchen was open all day, so we made a reservation. On the day of, we arrived at Sindeo, were led to our table and attended by a young lady. When we mentioned that the menu wasn't the same as the one outside, she told us that there's a different menu for lunch and dinner. We'd mentioned they should make sure to state that so there's no future confusion. The waitress became annoyed and switched her demeanor, becoming quite rude. She walked away while we were still speaking to her. It's a shame because we were really looking forward to having lunch there.
The hotel was very modern and comfortable and in a good location being outside the centre of Palma but close enough so it was not a problem. The rooms, swimming pool, breakfast and staff all excellent. The breakfast buffet was extensive and had everything you would want. The pool had a good bar and lots of sunbeds. I would stay here again
Had a nice stay in this hotel despite not booking this particular hotel for my holiday. I had booked Palma Bellver for my stay but this hotel is currently closed so we were moved to this hotel by Melia. Obviously we didn't receive our marina view but with the hotel set back a few streets, getting in and out of old town was easy to do using the number 4 bus from the bus top near the hotel for 2 euros. I think this hotel would benefit from frosted glass balconies as you're very on view when sitting out and I'm sure other guests don't want to be looked at either. Nice, clean room and good amenities. I can't comment about the hotel facilities as I didn't use any of them. What I wanted to find out when looking at reviews was about the rooms and their location in the hotel so I hope this helps.... Had reserved the junior suite at the Bellver but as this hotel was closed, got assigned a loft room. Not having been to this hotel before, i presumed this would mean a high up room with a large balcony and good views. The loft that we were given was on the outside pool level (floor 1) which is below ground level (ground floor / reception is floor 4) and there are 12 floors in total. The loft gives you a terrace area equipped with chairs but is on the outdoor pool level. The townhouse was floor 3 (bedroom & sitting room, two showers & two toilets) so one floor below ground level. The views were of the pool and the balconies opposite so not quite the marina view we originally wanted. We were room only here so enjoyed a latte in the hotel bar in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the Japanese themed food was very nice and reasonably priced. We enjoyed our stay but prefer more of a private balcony and marina views so whilst we did have a nice time, we would rather a stay on the marina front for those views.…
I only stayed at this hotel because I had friends that already booked it for a company trip. Location is OK, you can walk to Santa Catalina area, about 10 min walk. Sunbeds get occupied early so I can imagine in summer must be impossible to get one if you are not by the pool at 9.00 Had a room on the 12th floor with views over the bay. Balconies are not very private when it comes to having conversations. The area surrounding the hotel is not very nice to be honest, Staff is friendly, food was good but the menu very small. I would probably not book this hotel again for the location. There are better options.
Outstanding comfort, facilities, pool, bar and a surprisingly gourmet meal for $28eu. Great location if you enjoy walking, many great restaurants and sights nearby. The staff are very helpful. Lived our balcony view of the pool. Great value overall.
