Had a wonderful 4 night stay for my birthday. We found all staff to be very helpful and friendly. Everywhere in the hotel and around the pools were spotlessly clean Plenty of choice in the buffet restaurant of beautifully cooked and well presented food. Enjoyed the spa session. Didn’t eat at bar so cannot comment on the food there. Would highly recommend
Only option in the evening was plastic glasses as main bar closed and only the pool bar was (even though the pool was closed ) Luggage safe key and 1 room key did not work Safe stopped working (Replacement battery worked) Tea options in room very limited (No Breakfast tea or milk) previously this was supplied Wallpaper peeling off wall in bathroom Reception staff very friendly and helpful, great location Didn’t mention the following as we thought we had complained too much No Dustbin in Room (Only in Bathroom) previously this was supplied Wardrobe door kept “sticking” Expect more when we are spending £200+ a room per night. Have stayed at the Isla Mallorca several times and previously recommended it. but not again.
Spent 3 nights here last weekend with my two adult daughters. Super hotel. Everything spotlessly clean and well maintained. Spacious room with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and wooded hillside topped with a castle! Fabulous choice for breakfast with tasty bar snacks available beside the pool. Two things which would have made a great room perfect were 1) an additional mirror - just one mirror in the bathroom made it difficult for 3 to get ready at the same time! 2) an additional waste bin - just one tiny bin in the bathroom which was quickly filled. Great location - about 15 minute walk to the centre with fabulous restaurants, cafes and bars. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely return.
The hotel is clean and tidy, great pools and reasonable prices for food and drinks, but the best thing about this hotel is the staff. All were polite and friendly with a special shout out to the lifeguard who recommended a great restaurant and the women in the spa who gave me a pedicure, wonderful
Another great stay! Previous visit 2017 and it’s even better. This time we had a terrace room and it was amazing. Sunbathing til 7pm on our balcony was incredible. Hotel is always immaculate, beautiful pool area and such friendly staff on reception. We plan to be back again next year. Also great location- can walk to everywhere !
Just returned from a 4 day break in Palma. A last minute booking and we were so lucky to have picked this hotel. Perfect in every way, location, room, staff and weather. This is a 4 star hotel but felt better than that. We would highly recommend this hotel.
A great hotel about 20 mins walk from the centre, food good had a lovely breakfast and the buffet dinner was worth it. A/C was excellent. Cons: missing a mirror above the dressing table in the bedroom (only one is in the wardrobe!) needs better amenities such as tissues, shower hat, very hard bed.
We really enjoyed our week's stay here in July. The hotel is modern, kept to a high standard, and offers a range of room options. We stayed in an upper floor room with a view of the port which was lovely (perhaps just a little on the small side). The breakfast is excellent with a wide range of options and an on site chef to cook omelettes etc to order. Staff are efficient and friendly, particularly both at reception and at the pool bar. There are two pool areas and we liked that these are only open from 10am as this discourages early sun lounger 'bagging' which is good. There were a few people waiting by 10am and the areas do get busy but we never saw a problem finding space. The hotel is located only a short walk from central Palma. It is also very near to the Miro studio and the Castel de Bellver. We hired a car and although paid parking is available at the hotel we found no problem parking on the streets outside. There is also a small square with parking next to the hotel. There is road good access from the hotel out of Palma and on to the main roads for visiting the rest of the island. We have only a couple of small issues to note. On the eighth floor where we stayed the lift doors need attention as they make a bit of a banging noise when closing so perhaps ask for a room away from that end of the corridor. Also, for some reason our room was not serviced on our last full day's stay. We would definitely return.…
I stayed here several times over the years. Booked a junior suite which was fine. However, you are not permitted to use the sun loungers or pool prior to 10am missing out on the coolest part of the day. People queueing from 9.30. Red tape and mesh to control your movements across the pool boundary. I have cancelled my reservation to come back with my daughter in August solely because of this unacceptable practice and booked into a more central hotel junior suite with my own terrace overlooking a small pool with zero restrictions ( San Lorenzo) . Let’s face it I’m on holiday not on a boot camp! Shame really as otherwise nice hotel .
We stayed here for three nights, we had a great time. The room was lovely, lots of choice at breakfast, the pool area is great, food and drink at the pool bar was also reasonable in price. The walk into town is about 15 minutes so it was far enough away not to be noisy. We plan to return whenever we stay in Mallorca next.
