Stayed in the Isla Hotel for three nights. What a wonderful experience. Everything about this hotel is 1st class. The friendly staff to the food. We have never eaten in a hotel restaurant for each night of our stay, but we made an exception for this hotel. The food was varied and interesting. While there was a buffet, you could also get your main courses cooked to order. Breakfast was also brilliant with same arrangement. We had a room with a massive balcony with brilliant views. Short walk to port, with a longer walk to town.

Highly recommend this hotel. Good location, 15 mins walk to centre of Santa Catalina and approx 30 mins into the centre of the old town. 5 mins in a taxi at 5 euros. Just a few minutes walk down to the harbour front. Not a beachfront hotel. 2 outdoor pools (unheated), adequate loungers and umbrellas. 9 euros to hire bikes all day, bike path along the harbour and beyond to nice beaches, cafes etc. Had an urban room with terrace, quite small and basic but very clean and comfortable with modern bathroom. Would recommend paying a bit extra for the terrace as you have loungers and chairs table etc. Staff friendly and helpful. The only negative is the lack of a coffee machine or tea/coffee making facilities in the room which would expect from a four star hotel and also strangely no mirror in the room, small niggles, otherwise fab and will return!

Lovely hotel, very clean and staff friendly. Stayed here for 2 nights as a relaxing weekend away, room was lovely with a great view from the balcony (6th floor). Pool bar serves amazing cocktails and was great for a bite to eat at lunchtime. Pool area was nice a quiet with good loungers, pool was freezing though. Spa was amazing, €9 for 2 hours, lots of different spa showers, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, hot beds and much more so highly recommend. Beach towels are available with a €10 deposit, refunded once towels returned. Great breakfast and dinner selection, plenty to choose from. Only negatives, no available drinking water so you have to buy bottled water which is expensive and there is no evening music.

Stayed as a group in August. Lovely modern hotel with great decor. Check in quick and efficient and staff were lovely and v pleasant. We stayed in an urban room with balcony on 7th floor which gave lovely sea and castle views. Room was v clean and modern, TV had a good choice of English channels if you wanted them. Our friends stayed in the spa building and had a terrace overlooking the infinity pool so we were able to have drinks there. However our views were better as they were on 3rd floor so couldn’t see the sea. Bought breakfast for 3 mornings ( €10 pp if you booked a few days in advance €14 otherwise) breakfast was lovely and the pancake/omelette chef was amazing and such a great laugh. 2 of our group hired bikes from reception. Hotel was busy but we had no problem getting loungers. Poor bar staff were lovely and food was v good. Hotel not too far from Palma city and we walked in no problem. However got taxis most nights as we didn’t want to get hot and sweaty before we went out and then walked home. Taxis plentiful but prices varied. If I had one small gripe it would be the lack of a kettle (I love sitting out on the balcony early in the morning with a coffee while my husband sleeps in) All in all I wouldn’t hesitate to return and will book again. Palma is a fab city and well worth a visit

It’s a lovely clean hotel, it’s just such a shame that the staff are unhelpful, not accommodating whatsoever and just plain RUDE. Made us feel like an inconvenience, even when it came down to ordering food. I wont bore with the details but basically, no manners, no smile, no customer service skills at all. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review but we were both very disappointed with the whole experience.
