We have just spent two weeks in this five star hotel. To celebrate our parents 66th wedding anniversary. They are both ages 87. We all were on red level and we had a fantastic marina and cathedral view from our rooms. Service was outstanding. Breakfast amazing with so much choice of a high standard. Mostly the five star is down to the staff. Every member of staff was amazing and so helpful. Went above and beyond their duty to make sure we had everything we needed and more. An anniversary our parents will always treasure

Hotel's Favorite
Hotel Victoria isa short transfer from the airport and a short walk from Palma centre. The location is great with superb views of the marina and Cathedral. The hotel is beautiful blending perfectly old and new. The rooms are perfect providing all of the amenities you would expect in a first class hotel. Our bar and dining experiences were without fault and good value. The red level service was excellent and for my wife and I a great way to end the day was to sit and sip cava rose on the Victoria Terrace with its spectacular views. Most importantly however was that the hotel and its facilities were upstaged by all of the fantastic staff who attended to us throughout our stay. This was without exception and leaves us with a determination to return and experience the delights of Hotel Victoria once again.

We have just checked out of this hotel after a four night stay and I cannot rate it highly enough. The reviews do not do it justice. Breakfast on the terrace is excellent quality with great choice and a stunning view to start the day. The pool area and loungers are fantastic. We ate lunch on the terrace one day and again it was fantastic. Having booked with Jet2 we booked a classic room with no balcony. The price to upgrade the room was 253 per person which was ridiculous. However on check in we were offered an upgrade at a very reasonable price and the room had a lovely view of the marina and the cathedral and also had a balcony. Standard of the room was excellent, good size, comfortable huge bed and nice bathroom. It was cleaned extremely well each day and the turn down service in the evening with fresh towels was a bonus. The location is a lovely 20 minute walk into the old town along the marina. However there are lots of bars and restaurants all round it. I also wanted to say that the staff are a credit to this hotel, incredibly pleasant. My husband and I cannot wait to return. A bit longer next time though!!

I've been to a lot of hotels and I don't think I've been to a place where the staff were not only SO attentive but so genuinely wanted to help. The hotel was great but the staff make this place and really did go above and beyond to help wherever they could. At no point did this feel forced upon you, or an obligation for them to help you... just what felt like genuine acts of kindness. Thank you to all of you there.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff in all areas very polite and helpful. With regard to the evening dinner we must congratulate the chef as the quality of his cooking and presentation are worthy of a very good mention, it was superb. In response to Covid there are sanitiser dispensers but they appeared to be for decoration only. Nobody is encouraged to use them the same also can be said with the use of face masks. There is a very small sign in one of the lifts asking guests to put a mask on in the lift but you could only read it if you are 6ft tall and have glasses on. Where is the sign outside of the lift with regard to wearing masks? On the terrace empty glasses are left on the tables and when cleared the tables are not always wiped down. We do feel let down by Melia for not encouraging guests to take responsibility. We are sure Melia would respond by saying it is their utmost priority to safeguard guests against Covid, this they are not doing completely. Covid is decreasing but not totally gone away so come on Melia take on the responsibility of more measures to secure the safety of guests and not just leave it to their discretion.
