This was my 2nd visit to the lovely Sant Jaume hotel and as before, I was greeted by the lovely staff and welcomed back to this quiet oasis in the heart of Palma old town.
The hotel, whilst in one of the old narrow cobbled streets, boasts a modern interior and offers a restful ambiance away from the bustling centre not far away.
Breakfast is a highlight for me and the selection and attention to detail is evident and the food quality offers a perfect start to a restful experience.
I look forward to returning again quite soon.

We stayed here for 3 nights during our vacation in majorca, the room was large and spacious enough for 2 of us plus our 4 yo and the extra touch of a Teddy on his bed on arrival was greatly appreciated, the house keeping team also neatly lined his cars along the window each day. All staff encountered were very friendly and helpful. The roof top pool area is also a welcoming site after a busy day touring the sites. Please take caution when booking this hotel. Although the hotel it situated near the center of Palma, this is the only thing that allows the 5 star rating.
Upon check in, the front reception did not come to greet us and sat in their chairs until we greated them. They do not offer valley parking, simply state you will have to park across the street and pointed.
In regards to room and other amenities...the room was decently appointed, however very thin walls and slamming doors not conducive for sleepjng. Moreover, the beds are very firm. The hot tub is not hot, nor were there any towels on the roof top for use(we were there at 7pm-jowever told the hot tub is open until 10pm). The gym is in a hotel room(there is not another location they are renovating). I understand a gym my not be important to all, but those interested, very limited/old equipment, again in a hotel room.
Lastly, upon check in, we asked if we could cancel our second night due to our concerns about the hotel and they refused to refund the second night. American express has also called them(this is who we book through) and they also declined their request.
In the future, I would hope if a guest is displeased with the service and this hotel is not meeting expectations, they would reconsider a refund given >24 hours notice.
If you are someone that thinks you are getting a 5☆ hotel, please think again!

Although we are quite surprised and dismayed by the content of your review regarding your holiday at our Sant Jaume Luxury Design Hotel , please rest assured that your comments have been taken onboard and revised by the entire management team. However, we would like to take this opportunity to clarify certain aspects of your review as a simple matter of exactness of the information reported. On the one hand, we do have a plunge pool on the rooftop, which is not heated and exclusively designed for a quick dip during summer hot days with some great views over Palma city centre and the cathedral. In this area, we offer towels and food & drinks service. For winter days and evenings, we have available our wellness area with sauna, indoor heated pool and a treatments room. On the other hand, our gym located on the first floor is equipped with brand-new Technogym gear: 3 pieces of cardio equipment, a variety of dumbbells, yoga matt & fitball, as well as a multifunctional weight-adjustable machine for different exercises. Lastly, we offer indeed some promotional non-refundable rates, which do not allow modifications nor cancellations without penalty after a certain date. We sincerely lament reading that your stay was not as pleasant as it should have been, mainly because the hotel location right in the city centre of Palma and the facilities of a small luxury boutique hotel were not as you expected. Hotel is in a great location in a cool area and clearly well designed and thought through to luxury. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The wellness area has a good sauna and warm relaxation pool, needs to be booked. The wellness treatments were great and need to be booked in advance. The standard rooms were on the small side for a longer business trip, and there wasn't enough shelf space to unpack properly. There aren't baths in the rooms only in the suites but the shower is very powerful waterfall style. Sleep was a bit affected because rooms are very hot and hard to strike a balance between hot and cold, and you can get some noise from the street but that is city life. The room service menu wasn't great, limited and not proper meals if you are hungry on a longer stay and want dinner, more of snacks.

We are also glad you enjoyed our wellness facilities with an indoor heated pool and a sauna. Regarding the rooms, we have five different categories available in the hotel: Deluxe single use, Deluxe, Junior Suite, Junior Suite with terrace and the Suite Sant Jaume. The category booked for your stay was a Deluxe single use, which has 20 square meters. Our Deluxe rooms have between 25 and 35 square meters, since some of them are more spacious and others have a small balcony, for example. All the other higher categories have over 35 square meters and a bathtub, in addition to the shower. As far as our restaurant is concerned, we offer a wide and selected variety of traditional Spanish-based comfort food in Cantina Panzà. However, there is also a menu available for room service during restaurant opening hours and a shorter version for a 24-hour service. My mother and I stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. This hotel is everything you want comfortable, beautiful, quiet, proximity to all the best restaurants/bars, delicious food and a great roof top. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with smiles and a glass of Cava of course, and the staff was helpful and available. The room was fully equipped with amazing shampoo, soap, conditioner, quality hair dryer and straighter, and robes. Everything has been thought of here at this hotel. We rented a car while on the island and although they don't have parking, there's a public parking 5 min walk away and it was very easy to get to. They even have a spa included once/day if you want. We highly recommend staying here in Mallorca. You'll be happy you did!

I was extremely lucky to come across this hotel when booking a short getaway to celebrate my 50th Birthday.
On arrival we were greeted very warmly by Elena, Just one of the friendly hotel reception staff we were fortunate to have met. We were given a glass of Cava in the bar and Elena took time to explain the Hotel and surrounding to us and she recommended day trips and what we should see while visiting Palma.
Even through we were 3 hours early to check in we were told our room was ready for us which was great as we could freshen up before heading out to explore lunch venues. The Hotel was warm and cosy and very quite given it’s location. The room was very lovely modern and clean with a super comy bed and fluffy pillows. The highlight of our stay was being able to book and hours slot in the Spa and have use of the pool and sauna in private. I was also treated to a bottle of Champagne to celebrate my birthday and this made my day extra special, The staff made our stay here very special.
The Hotel also has a very lovely restaurant where we enjoyed incredible breakfasts such a good choice of breakfast items and I must say the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel. I miss it already and would love to return one day.

We stayed in this property for one week as we were attending a family wedding in Palma.
I have to say, It was exceptional. The staff are incredibly attentive, welcoming and professional. Always there to assist with anything you may need. Upon arrival we were greeted at the doors of the hotel where our bags were taken to the room and we were offered a glass of champagne. Such an amazing touch.
The first room we checked in to had a Juliette style balcony but as we were staying for a longer period of time the reception manager was so kind to move us to a room with a large balcony with chairs and sun loungers.
Every evening we came back to the hotel our room was immaculate. The accommodation staff were absolutely 5 star!
The design of the hotel was elegant, classy and refreshing. We Loved the concept.
The Location of the hotel could not have been better. You are 5 minutes from everything.
The pool on the roof is just a hot tub so a pool was missed but it was brilliant to have even that to dip into. Really Palma city and the hotel is all about the town and location more so than pools. If you are looking for that kind of a holiday, you are better looking along the coast not in the city. The bar was small but the cocktails were great. We didn’t dine at the restaurant as it was always very quiet which was the only down side to the property in our opinion. However, we ordered room service a few times and there are so many restaurants and bars a stones throw away 😊

This property is excellently positioned for city centre, bars, shops and restaurants are very close by. All the staff, especially those on reception, were extremely warm, helpful and interested in our feedback from their suggestions for trips and restaurants. The room staff kept our Junior Suite very clean and tidy. The room was very spacious, comfortable and did have a good sized bathroom. The top floor roof garden is large with many loungers and a lovely plunge pool. The hotel has a lovely dining room with excellent food especially for breakfast. We will be back!
