This hostel is in a good central location in the brilliant city of San Sebastian and that is probably it's only saving grace. We found the lady there (believe she was called Anna) very rude. She was aggressive and quick to change personality. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Our room was at the front of the hotel...

To be brutally honest, my friend and I booked the place simply because it was cheap at that moment, but we were pleasantly surprised to have found that it was right in the heart of the city centre, next to numerous bars and restaurants! The place itself is very clean and has all your basic needs, including towels and soap/shampoos....

We were very satisfied with this authentic B&B in one of the oldest buildings of Donostia. The staff is helpful, the breakfast home-like and location fantastic. The street next to Amaiur has many restaurant and bars, but they didn't disturb our sleep. The stair are steep, so elder people should take them carefully.

The location is fantastic and it was wonderful to stay in such a historic building. Maria was very helpful and gave really good advice. The room was spotless. We had a front room with balcony which was a great spot to watch the passing parade. You are really in the thick of things and surrounded by fabulous pintxos bars, so.....expect...

This is a wonderful and quirky hotel, excellently positioned in the old town, with the hill to the castle behind it and pintxos bars within a stone's throw of the front door. Our room was at the back of the hotel, with a view of the playing area of a ball game called pelota, which we gathered was a traditional...

This Pension is right in the thick of things in San Sebastián. The room was typically two single beds pushed together but was light and comfortable. The external bathrooms were clean and spacious. Overall we enjoyed our stay, however, the bedroom and towel changing over was spontaneous even though we did exactly as described on the bathroom wall. Towels on...

Our room was extremely comfortable and had the most incredible view of Old Town. The building is the oldest building in San Sebastian and is across from some of the most amazing Pintxos bars including Fuego Negro. Highly recommend this Pension! Staff was incredibly friendly and amenities were great.

This little hotel is the heart of old town. Walking distance for all the pintxos bars and restaurants (literally outside the door), pretty much anything was walking distance in San Sebastian. It's next to a lovely church and you can wake up to very soft bells in the morning (starting at 8am). The bedroom was clean and a very comfortable...

We just loved Amaiur. Our room overlooked Augusto which is the street with the best Pintxo bars. We had a balcony with a separate private bathroom. I loved the sounds from the street when you opened the balcony doors - the hustle and bustle, church bells and buskers music and yet the soundproof doors could block it all out when...

Stayed here just one night while in San Sebastian. It was a very cozy room, with an ensuite bathroom (there are options for private or shared bathrooms) and a pretty balcony where we could sit and take in the evening. The neighborhood is lively, with a lot of good bars. It's also very close to La Concha and Monte Urgull....
