Room was small but clean. Hotel is a good central location. Staff was friendly and helpful with directions. Garage parking is available. Temporary spots are located in front of hotel for check in. Staff will then give you directions for parking garage.

Dear Customer: Many thanks for your nice review. I agree that our parking service, far from being perfect, is very good. Our parking spot are located 200 mts far away. We manage these private spots, that are located in the residents area of a public parking (Parking Okendo). To acces with the car to this residents area, you need some easy instructions. Once you know how it works, you can go in and out as many times you need. Parking spots are very convenient and they are watched 24 hours a day. And best of all, you always get a better deal when compared to the prices of the service in the same public parking. For 24 hours it is 7 or 8 euros cheaper than the same service in the public parking. This deal is even better when making the reservation directly with us by phone, email or in our website. Many thanks again and best regards. Iñaki Azurza Manager.

Dear Customer: We really appreciate your nice review. As you say, our Hotel is very well located, in the heart of the city, close to the majority culutral equipments, and one stpe far from the Histroic city, where you will also find the major offer in pintxo bars and restaurants. But what we most appreciate is your nice words about our service. Many thanks and best regards. Iñaki Azurza Manager.

This hotel was exactly what we wanted - great location, walking distance to the main parts of the city, simple but clean room. The beds were so comfortable! The lady in reception - I think her name was Pina - was so lovely, she gave us lots of tips about where to go, where to eat.. which was very helpful! Our stay was made even better thanks to her.

Dear Customer: We really appreciate such a good review. I agree that we are very well located to visit the city. Let's say that we are tight in the middle of the city center, but the area is very quite and calm. We also have renovated all the matresses in the las two years, and I'm very happy to read that you found them very confortable. Some times is not easy to suceed in the election. Let me also inform you that what we most apreciate is your nice words about our employee Pino. She is the Head of the reception departament. We all strive every day in giving the best possible service, and we appreciate your feed-back. Your words confirm that we are on the right direction, and encourages us to keep on it. May thanks again and best regards. Iñaki Azurza Manager

Having visited San Sebastian three times we have always stayed in the same hotel, the previous time was at least 20 years ago. During the recent visit we found the hotel had been extensively refurbished. It was as always a wonderful well run hotel. The staff very friendly and helpful, the décor pleasant and the facilities excellent. On the sea front and close to the old town it is truly a wonderful place to stay.

Dear Customer: First of all, many thanks for your loyalty during all this years, and second, but not less important, many thanks for your nice words about our Hotel. This a family business, and I am the second generation running the Hotel, and lead a very professional team that understand very well that hospitality is our business. i really feel proud of them. I learned from my parents that it is absolutly necessary to invest in the business to keep alive. Right now we are in a fully renovation process. You saw the result of the first renovation phase, wich included the instalation of an elevator, and the refurbishment of all the common areas. We are very happy with the result, and we are very happy that you liked it too. Be sure that your nice words give us strength to continue with the rest of the refurbishment plans. Hopping to see you in the future, we remain Faithfully yours, Iñaki Azurza Manager

The furniture was old and the very basic. The bathroom did not have a fan, and water went everywhere. The walls are thin, and we heard the neighbours at night. The hotel is old and basic. However, the bay is right in front of the hotel. Pinchtos bars with 5-7 minute walk. BUT. The reception staff are the best I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They go out of their way to ring around when stuck and relying on others. Knowledgeable on where to eat and what to see. Absolute treasures and extremely helpful. Would go back again just for the reception staff.

Concerning the rooms, let me inform you that since our family is running the Hotel (since 1979), we have constantly been renovating the rooms and its equipment. It included the installation of an elevator and the renovation of all the common areas. We will start with the second phase after this years season, and will start renovating the rooms again.
