Great location in the Old Town but the service is non existant!!! They purposely over book the rooms and then refer you to their other hostel in which you have to pay more. Bathrooms are dirty and you have to supply your own toilet paper because they rarely clean/restock the bathrooms. The kitchen, reception, laundry & common room is all...

The place is nice and clean, great location. If your room is anywhere near the street you will be exposed to loud noise from foot traffic and garbage trucks during the night. There isn't any other services like a common room. But for the price and location you can't really expect anything more.

The best thing about Goiko is the location right in the heart of the old town. The room itself was basic but comfortable with a very basic breakfast included downstairs in the hostel section. Overall it was a comfortable stay for budget travellers

This place was perfectly located, clean, and the staff was very nice. We stayed in 2 different rooms and both were very stuffy. One had the most horrible sounding fan ever. All things being equal, it's a good place to rest your head in a fantastic city.

What a brilliant get away. Loved San Seb for the food, care free culture and beautiful views. We found Pension Goiko on the internet and so glad we did. It was exactly what we needed - clean and perfectly situated, bang in the centre of town. The staff completely made the trip for me. They were so helpful and spoke...

I stayed with my family at the pension Goiko during a week in November. The smallest was 1 year and the eldest 83 years. We all had a fantastic time in San Sebastian and loved our stay at the Pension. The rooms were comfortable, had a tv, a zink with running water, nice and clean beds and a large wardrobe....

“If you're worried about the noise level there is an interior room to the dorms that does not have a window. It seemed to be quieter. Also, if Pension Goiko is full you might ask about their other properties. I'm sure they are maintained as well as this one.”

“Higher floor for less noise, but lower floor if the elevator isn't working. Further from the main entry door or bathrooms for quiet as well.”

“If you check in early they give you the preference to choose the room you want and probably with an upgrade.”

“The 3 person room on the second floor for accommodation has a view of essentially the "airing cupboard". It was basically a square at the centre of the building with a greenhouse styled roof that the hostel and residents used to dry their washing.”
