A great location and very friendly staff. I was surprised by the main entrance door being open most of the time - anyone can walk in, and into the rooms as these were mainly unlocked as well. However, nothing happened. I also enjoyed the garden, and browsing around the little library shelf. Despite there being many people in a room,... More

The hostel was clean and bright. I had a room of 12 girls which in addition to the very shaky bunks and thin mattresses made it difficult to sleep but that´s hostel life! Breakfast is meagre but is included so can´t complain. One staff member was so sweet and friendly, offering suggestions on what to see. The other two were... More

We stayed there for 3 nights, in a double room (3 beds) and shared bathroom. The place was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly, and recommended very good restaurants and places to explore. It's in the city centre, in walking distance from everything, including the bus station (where you can take a bus to the airport) I'd definitely... More

I woke up in the morning and I had a good breakfast which was included in the price After the check... More

It has everything you need for a short stay. Its very clean. Staff is kind and welcoming. Breakfast is ok. It`s a small hostel, but not a party one. Location is perfect. Rooms are good, there is enough space between the beds. There are enough bathrooms and showers for all the people staying in the shared rooms.

I enjoyed my stay at Pil Pil Hostel. The staff is great and super nice, the girl working at night even gave me some turrón! The walls are quite thin, so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The bunkbeds felt a bit unstable, especially the top bunks, but otherwise were quite comfortable. Nice common area, good location close to... More

Quite convinient location. Basic service - nothing bad, nothing special. If you are going by car, you can try to park around stadium San Mames. Very basic breakfast (cereals, milk, jam) and weak coffee but always something before you start your day. For foreigners: siesta is long and very strict in Bilbao - getting someting to eat impossible.

I spent a week in Bilbao and when looking for hotels/hostels this one immediately caught my eye for its location alone. I'm glad to say I wasn't disappointed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the price was more than fair. As a person who dislikes mornings I found it a huge bonus to have coffee already at hand... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for about a week since it was the cheapest we could find in the area. We stayed in a 6 BR and we were surprisingly able to get some sleep. I appreciated the staff's diligence in order to have everybody quiet and out of the common area by midnight. The breakfast wasn't anything special... More
