Located on a quiet side street off the Gran Via, one block from the Arenal Bridge across to the Vasco Viejo, the hostal is well positioned as a base for exploring the city on foot, as well as easy access to the metro and other public transport. Occupying two floors of the building, individually decorated rooms and reception area have...

Our double room price was 75 euro/night. Not so cheap, but the location is good. The room was clean and we had a bathroom and a fan. (It was too warm, because there were no air-conditioner.) The room included a fridge and in the reception is coffee-machine. So it was possible to fix breakfast and supper. Our room was quiet...

This is a small, old, traditional hotel. Don't expect anything glitzy. What you get is authenticity, uniqueness and a very personal experience. Situation is great. They suggested parking in underground car park about 5 mins walk away. As we stayed during Festival Week the whole town was buzzing well into the night. The owner who spoke perfect English gave us...

This is a very basic hostel, considering the price which is not so low. It has, generally speaking, everything in terms of room equipment (there aren't really any common areas) but the general feel is of old stuff, fairly low quality and cheaply furnished. The cleanliness was however good.

I stayed here for one night whilst in Bilbao. The hotel is central and it is very easy to get to any of the main attractions including the old town and the Guggenheim. My room was clean and a good size for two people sharing, there was a fridge which was nice to for water and any bits of food...

Rooms are very small,no ventilation, noisy street, smoking from the street finds it's way up into your room. Place gets a good review from many, but for me it was overpriced . Owner is a good host & provides useful advice. The rest of the staff only spoke Spanish. Maybe all of Bilbao is overpriced

My room had a nice bed, a refrigerator, tv and balcony. (room number 100). The room was very clean and although there are bars in the street, it was very quiet in my room at night. They do not serve breakfast but there is a coffee machine at the reception area. A coffee cortado costs €1,00. The man at the...

It's located in a very convenient place, easy to find and just next to the old town and shopping area. The decoration of the room is old fashioned but in good condition. One thing bothered me slightly was the smell of the pensión - smelled like disinfectant. The staff was nice but only gave answer but no suggestions. Worth the...

Very nice room and location for a great price. Only a 5 minute walk to shops and restaurants and the Guggenheim Museum was a 20 minute walk. Parking was secure and also a good price. Only complaints were the room felt a bit un-homely with laminate flooring and not much natural light (just being picky).

“We had what is clearly the family room, with two double beds, and another single. It was on the same level as the reception, and the shower was larger than usual since it was handicap accessible. There was lots of space to spread out and repack our bags for our trip home.”
