Stylish hotel, friendly staff, superb location — we were absolutely delighted with the Miro! We’re also grateful for its nimbleness rebooking us following COVID postponements in ‘20 and ‘21. We loved Bilbao, too, and its terrific food and wine!!
A fine hotel , very well located in between the old town , the museums and the football stadium. All easy to walk to. Very helpful finding us a dinner restaurant. Good breakfast. Room excellent. Loved the honesty bar. Made life easy. Overall would stay again.
We had a 3 night stay here and really enjoyed it. The entrance lobby has a contemporary feel and we were checked into our room super fast. The reception staff are amazing and can’t do enough to please and ensure you are happy with everything. Their English is quite good. The room is bright and modern with a view of the surrounding hills and a distant side view of the Guggenheim (room 26). Very quiet and peaceful room day and night. Breakfast was taken in a bright, modern space and included fresh fruit, cheese, pastries and scrambled or fried eggs on toast. There is a lovely library and bar. We parked our car in the Car Park opposite at a cost of 42 euros for 3 days.
Stayed for four nights as I was attending an event. My husband joined me for the last day. Overall a great stay.. Walking distance to Guggenheim. Staff members at the reception and breakfast were very cordial. Esther gave us complimentary tickets to see vintage cars at the Guggenheim and we wouldn't have known that the cars were on display if she hadn't mentioned. That was the best part of our trip. Thanks for that! Two things which could be improved are to have a bit more options for breakfast and have a proper glass door for the shower.
I booked the hotel based upon location and amenities. I was not disappointed. The Guggenheim is a short walk. The area restaurants and bars compliment the hotel. The staff was outstanding! They provided a complimentary ticket for the Guggenheim, helped with printing an email, arranged an early morning taxi, and even made me a coffee while I waited for my taxi.
If u want to be within walking distance of the Guggenheim museum, this is an ideal hotel. Room was overall clean and comfortable. The shower in our room could have been better designed as the glass door would swing open and water would spill on the main bathroom floor—I had to prop a garbage can next to it to keep it closed. I was also disappointed that if u wanted eggs with your breakfast, u had to pay 6 euro extra—I thought that was excessive. It was an ok experience, but I would try a different hotel if I visited bilbao again.
I was upgraded to a bigger room with a view on Guggenheim and enjoyed my stay very much. The room was comfy and nicely decorated, smart and stylish use of space. The location is perfect. But what I really liked was the service, friendly and efficient, made me feel special. I would come back and warmly recommend this hotel.
worthwhile upgrading to a view of the Guggenheim museum. If travelling by car there is a car park across the road (c. €13 per night). Next door there is a great place for breakfast (Sui San). The staff at reception are exceptional-friendly, helpful, and efficient.
Lovely hotel all staff really helpful especially reception. Couldn’t fault anything during our stay and hotel is in a perfect central location. It’s our first trip to Bilbao visiting our daughter at university and would love to come back sometime thank you would highly recommend.
We stayed here two nights while exploring Bilbao. The location of Miro was excellent as it's almost across the street from the Guggenheim and the downtown waterfront. We had some trouble finding parking --- you're on your own for street parking in the area, but we did see a parking lot almost across the street that might be worth a try. The hotel is modern, clean and classy, an excellent place overall. During our stay, we spoke with a couple different front desk clerks and all were courteous and helpful. The room was excellent, but without any view out the window. Nonetheless, if going to Bilbao and wanting to hang out downtown and near the Guggenheim, you can't do much better for the price. Highly recommended.
