Good location for getting around Gijón. Rooms were spacious and clean but dated. Lifts were pot luck on whether they worked or not and not really man enough for the job. WiFi seemed to be good but didn’t really work which was frustrating. Breakfast was OK, hot and cold selections, fruit, yogurt. Plenty of choice. Staff were helpful.

Stayed here as part of a group of 11 friends. Hotel is within walking distance of harbour, beach, and lots of shops and restaurants. We didn't use a taxi the entire time we were here but for transport to the airport. Hotel room I stayed in was clean (could smell the disinfectant), the beds I think were some kind of memory foam - certainly not uncomfortable. There was a small tv in every room. We were on floor 9. The lifts seem a little dodgy! Staff are helpful and relatively friendly. Room is adequate, has everything you need to stay. It's not a four star hotel, there no mini bar, kettle blah blah - but I didn't need or want this. The bathroom was adequate but no ventilation so steamed up and was hot in there. The shower was fine, but had to hold the shower head as the holder wouldn't support its weight? The room was cleaned everyday we were there (two nights). Gijon doesn't seem pro tourist. Out of everywhere I have been in Spain, no one here speaks much English and the menus are all in Spanish - not a problem as I'm in a foreign country and expect to have to use a bit of sign language, but compared to other areas where English is a second language, gijon suffers a lot. The beach is nice and clean and the harbour is worth a visit. All in all, if you're going to use your hotel to sleep and clean in with basic facilities then this is absolutely fine and I recommend you stay here. If you're expecting anything more than a basic hotel then this one won't meet your expectations. If I were to return to gijon then I wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

The hotel is great and on a privileged location, the staff was super friendly and helped me when I forgot my Id there. The rooms are super comfortable and clean, I even got a 2 person room even if I had booked a single one. All in all, best quality for its price.

Ended up in this hotel through booking a cheap holiday with EasyJet. Was not impressed by the reviews and arrived at the hotel fearing the worst. Shabby hotel (definitely not chic) which could do with a good makeover. Looks like it hasn't been done up since the 70's. Having said that, the twin room we stayed in, although basic, was clean as was the bathroom. Beds made up every day and bath towels/mats changed daily. The breakfast was the usual buffet, cold meats and cheese, yoghurt, cereals, toast/marmalade, and for the money we paid, made an adequate start to the day. Staff were friendly and helpful, if you took the trouble to talk to them. The view from our room was dreadful. Right across the road from the Social Security offices and all we could see was a tower block. Not pretty. Right in the centre of the town and well placed for the shops, bars, old town and beach. Got a bit noisy at the weekend. All in all, not a bad hotel considering the cost. Would I say there again. Yes, if I wanted a cheap holiday.

Difficult to find if you don´t know the city, especially at night. One person helped to find it taking me to the hotel and I didn´t need to ask he voluntired and every people that I asked before for information always try to give the best information they could! Very nice people and helpful. The hotel is very nice and with good services. It´s located in the center and has a dancing bar in the street so it´s a little noisy in the night but is not their fault.
