Nice hotel in front of San Lorenzo beach and the historical city centre. Walking distance to city centre shopping centre. Friendly staff and very clean. Spacious rooms. Maybe the cheaper rooms don.t have a sea view but it.s still worth staying.

Facing the beach, in the center of Gijón, a 4-minute walk from the main square, a classic! The hotel has a classic elegant decoration. The rooms have wooden furniture, wooden floors, renovated bathrooms, A/C and heating. Large beds, although the mattress and pillows need to be renewed soon. The check in service was excellent, and the staff very helpful. I really liked breakfast: it is not taken in an exclusive space of the hotel, but in a bar next to the hotel. You can order anything from the bar's breakfast menu, and you can repeat any dish.

Nice hotel with a very old fashioned feel on the beach promenade of Gijon. Parking is a bit of a hassle to find and get to but at least it exists. Pleasant staff. Decent size rooms with air conditioning which is a little noisy. Comfortable and extremely clean. Breakfast was okay just very noisy and slow service. Pleasant place to stay in a nice location with easy access to town centre, beach and old town

A very nice hotel with a very friendly staff. The hotel is old but newly carefully renovated. AC could be more efficient. Bathroom big enough and everything was clean. We added breakfast in the cafe and it was sufficient.

We had 1 night booked here as our final night of a 6 day cycling tour. In hindsight I should have booked an extra night as we totally loved both the city of Gijon and the hotel itself. Once we got our bearings everything was walking distance so location was great. Our room was comfortable and spacious, and the bathroom was clean and functional. The hotel is pretty big, but has retained some of the old charm with lots of pretty little details. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast included but we had to catch an early bus, we talked to the guy at reception and he was able to organise for us to have coffee and croissant even before they opened, very appreciative as we had a long bus trip back to Madrid.
