The hotel is clean, friendly and very comfortable. It's very clean, with interesting Africa-inspired decor. We enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast of croissants, toast and fruit was fresh and quite adequate. Single rooms of a generous size and spotlessly clean.

The hotel is very close to the beach and just a walking distance to the town centre. The locals are amazing and I enjoy every single day I spent there. I am looking forward to going back again. Gijon is a very beautiful and really clean place, weather is great there too. Can't go wrong; for me it was just...

Our stay in Girona was only an overnight stop on our journey across Nothern Spain. But the Hotel San Miguel was the perfect stop for us. The hotel was well situated in the centre of town, the staff were very friendly and helpful, parking was in the basement and very convenient. The hotel was cozy and informal and very good...

I booked here one night recently as it was dog friendly. 36€ for a single room is fair as it's better than the pensiones nearby that charge a few euros less. Very good bathroom & single bed was actually bigger than a single. All very clean. Staff pleasant. Very good location if you like bars + 2 minutes (walk) from...

Had a bad experience with another hotel in Gijon and hurriedly booked a one night stay at the San Miguel Hotel. Excellent, clean quiet (and somewhat dated) room. Staff were nice, location allowed us to roam all over the old town, only minutes from everywhere we wanted to walk. Wish I had arrived easier and I would have used their...

I would stay here again in a heartbeat! For an inexpensive place, it had a lot of nice details. I loved the fresh cut lilies and the cheerful colorful lampshades in the reception area. My room was very clean and one wall had a pretty ceiling painted on it. I liked the wood floor and it was generally an attractive...

My family just stayed at the San Miguel in Gijón, Spain. We found the hotel to be just what we were looking for - a clean, inexpensive, comfortable place to sleep that was convenient to the beach and main sights. The beds are firm, but very comfortable, the room was reasonably sized, and the bathroom was large, clean and well...

The San Miguel was a great little hotel, immaculate, WONDERFUL staff, and close to anything you could possibly want to visit in Gijon, as well as being a block off the beach. A five star resort hotel it's not, but I am a clean freak and was quite pleased with our choice, especially for the price.
