Situated in a delightful area of Seville, in the picturesque and authentic Barrio de Santa Cruz, the hotel is an attractive, converted manor house dating back to the 16th century. The Barrio de Santa Cruz is a charming area of the city with narrow, cobbled streets dotted with orange tree-lines plazas and centrally located within walking distance of many of the major attractions, such as the cathedral and the Alcazar. The hotel has a pleasing traditional patio-courtyard, onto which many of the rooms look out and where you can sit out and enjoy the peaceful ambience. There is also a popular restaurant that serves traditional Andalusian and Mediterranean cuisine.

This hotel is in the middle of the small alleyways/streets of Seville's Jewish Quarter. The Hotel has an old unique charm to it, there is a large atrium area filled with plants and water and it felt nice and calming.

We were offered free bottled water on arrival and the service

Dear guest, Thank you very much for your lovely comment and for share your experience with us in TripAdvisor. We are surrounded with those narrow cobblestone streets because our location is place in one of the most historical neighborhoods of the city, near of the main monuments and ideal to live the city from inside. We are in the neighborhood of Santa Cruz, a magical and charming place that was former Jewry of the city of Seville and it is a pleasure to stroll through its narrow streets. Our hotel is an old house from the XV century. Thank you for your lovely comments, and to make a summary very well some our facilities. I am very happy to hear that you have enjoyed your stay with us. I hope that your next stay is around the corner. We hope to see you soon. Best regards

My wife and I spent 4 nights at the El Rey Moro in November 2018 and were very pleased with our choice. It was a bit of a splurge in relative terms because we opted for a particularly large and well-appointed room, but I suspect we would have been happy in one of their other room

We were delighted with our first glimpse of this charming hotel with flowers and colorful pottery everywhere in the courtyard. It was exactly the experience we were looking for in our first trip to Spain. The bed was very comfortable - cozy but firm enough for our tired backs.

We are leaving on a cruise from Malaga on October 13, 2019 and are considering staying at your hotel for a few days prior to the trip. We would take a tour from your hotel to Alhambra on one day, and are wondering if it would be possible to take a taxi from your hotel to Malaga on the day of our cruise? And what would the approximate cost be for the taxi?
Yes I agree, train travel is very good in Spain and will be a lot quicker, although you might need to book seats beforehand as they usually need to be reserved. You could ask the hotel to do this for your prior to visiting.
