We stayed at Casa del poeta during our visit to Seville. This was the best stay we have ever experienced! We are still in awe of the history and the charm of this hotel. The hotel is a 17th century mansion where a poet lived. They retained the floors, pillars and few walls that add so much character to the place. The service was amazing too. We are definitely going back!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. We were greeted with wine, ham and cheese ( or any other drink we fancied) . Beautiful patio area and stunning little lounge area. We had booked a suite ( only disappointment for me was no bath but my personal choice) . The shower was amazing. Complementary bottle of cava, and a guitarist playing in the patio before dinner, what’s not to love. Can’t wait to get back there x

I gave this hotel maximum stars because the hotel, location and staff are remarkable; It just doesn’t need to get any better! Maria, Rosio(?) and Felipe were all there for our needs. Check in was made very easy by Maria as we enjoyed tea and coffee. Location is in the main part of the old city making everything very accessible. Because of the tight city streets, the parking for the hotel is not on site which looks to be normal for Seville old city and is located offsite in an enclosed secure parking structure. We drove to the hotel and as we got close, we called the hotel and Rosio then met us at our car and helped with luggage, and she then gave us the option to have her park our car in a nearby garage-Valet! That’s what we did and it was easy. When arriving, just don’t miss the very small street/driveway to turn onto, thru the park, or you’ll be going around a long block and then another round about just like I did! Ours came with breakfast which was quite good, unless you’re looking for a very large breakfast this works well. There was a Spanish guitarist during the evening at the hotel and that was very fun to just sit and listen to the local talent. The standard or deluxe rooms are close in size but the deluxe does have a bit more space (we had 1 of each). Doesn’t seem that important to me or matter much. Hotel rooms are modern and well appointed, in a completely remodeled hotel, very classic & amazing historic building. Rooftop has great views to just sit and relax.

An enchanted stay. This hotel is a true gem. All staff are extremely helpfull, welcoming and highly professional (from booking a PCR test appointment, recommending shows, advising for trains, etc.). A warm thank you to Rocio and her colleagues. The hotel had amazing flowers. The entrance and patio of the hotel are pure poetry. Name well chosen
