we were fortunate to find a hotel in early september -- although we thought September was a shoulder season, it seemed everything was book, but then we landed on the Hotel Romana; a great find, a wonderful staff, and they gave us the "terrace room" at no extra charge. This is a sequestered and special room with a huge terrace... More

Nice boutique hotel, good location for restaurants and bars and the sights. Standard rooms quite small but useable. Quiet building despite roof restaurant and terrace open to non guests. Good little hotel. Discount parking if you ask them.

I arrived in Seville last Tuesday morning, arriving at casa romana about 11.30. The staff at the desk we're very polite and efficient. I was in my room shortly after midday, the room was at the front of the hotel, it was spacious and clean but the air con was not working to full capacity, I pointed this out too... More

The Good: We had a HORRIBLE experience with the next door hotel that we had reserved for 6 days for 3 of us. Hotel Venecia is owned by homophobic, gay hating people. We explained to the that we left them because of this problem and they were happy to take us. They said we are not allowed to have overnight... More

Lovely hotel with wonderful furnishings. Our room was spacious and well appointed although, perhaps, needing a bit of renovation in the future. The bathroom was large and more than adequate. The room, however, could use a few more power points for recharging devices. Upstairs on the roof there is a wonderful view and drinks and food in the evenings. Breakfast... More

Our superior room was located on the ground floor. It was very comfortable and not a bad size for a city hotel. The bathroom was spacious and throughout it was well decorated and clean. All the receptionists were very helpful, happy to share a their local knowledge of the area; it was a restful stay in a great location. We... More

Nice hotel, lovely room, and bathroom with bath and walk in shower. We were at the front of the hotel, so we expected some traffic noise from the street below, but once the doors were closed, we heard nothing. The only negative thing was, the air conditioning was not very effective, considering it was 43 degrees outside. The location was... More

The Casa Romana is in an ideal location in Sevilla - within walking distance to everything, and right off the Alameda, which is full of cafes restaurants, and even a couple little childrens' playgrounds. The hotel was quiet and clean, the service was excellent, they offer a great buffet breakfast. This is not a pretentious hotel, it rather feels informal... More

This hotel has been restored to retain a real sense of traditional Spanish character. There’s a lovely outdoor courtyard and fountain in the centre, surrounded by three floors of balconies around which one set of the rooms are arranged, and an indoor atrium surrounded by three floors of balconies around which you find the rest. The standard rooms are spacious... More

We had 2 rooms a superior room and a standard room. The superior room was adequate however lacked good air conditioning and in room climate control. It was a hot week high 30s but the room could never be cooled adequately. The standard room was on the ground floor and we soon discovered the ants. The reception were unhelpful and... More
