I believe the trouble began with this hotel being listed on the Booking.com site as a $550 room at $150 U.S. Sounded like a screaming deal to me. Upon check by a very sweet young woman, we were ushered up to a very bare bones, spartan, cold feeling, small room. I would rate

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in this very nice hotel in early May. The location in the Santa Cruz area is fantastic and the suite room we booked was very comfortable and spacious. The wifi was in and out in our room but worked well in the extensive common area. Someone was

This small hotel was ideally situated for us, as we were able to walk to the areas around the Cathedral and The Alcazar. There is some noise at times, as it is near a flamenco club. So not the best if you have small children. However, it was good for us on a short city break to

There is plenty of parking nearby. The cost is up to you. You will be able to park for free on the street if you find an available spot, there is a minimal hourly cost "open air" large public parking lot and there are several privately owned underground garage parking facilities at the typical 24 hour going price. If you are interested in security the underground facilities would be your best choice. When you decide, send an e-mail to La Via Mezquita and they will send you directions to the parking spots of your choice. They may be able to arrange a discount at the underground facility near the university, which also happens to be the closest underground parking facility to La Via Mezquita. PS. La Via Mezquita does not have an elevator; I used the underground parking and left all my luggage in the closed, locked trunk of my car for 2 days and only took a small overnight bag to the room and this was very convenient for me. Enjoy your Trip!
