Travelers' Choice
The only hotel in Spain with a classical music theme. The hotel is built around a typical Sevillian patio of the eighteenth century (1745), situated between the Barrio de Santa Cruz and the Juderia, very close to the Giralda. It was recently refurbished but retains all its original charm. There are 19 rooms available, fully equipped with telephone, satellite television, air conditioning, minibar, en suite bathroom and security safe.

Nice town a lot of sightseeing buildings, very nice boat tours over the river. A trip arround the City and surrounding is very recommended. Also a day trip to the rio tinto is recommended. The red coloured river is very special and unbelievable.

We stayed at Hotel Amadeus in June 2019 on a trip with our niece. It was just as advertised...a beautiful hotel in the middle of the the scenic Santa Cruz neighborhood with all of its' winding streets. It makes you feel like you are actually staying in the heart of Seville as opposed to a commercial hotel that could be in any city. The room was the perfect size for our party of 3. The rooftop terrace was a wonderful place to come after a long day of sightseeing, with a refreshing cocktail mixed up by their friendly bartender, complete with wonderful views of the cities' best landmarks. Anna and the other front desk personnel were always so willing to offer directions and suggestions on transportation to the various sights we went off to see. The hotel is an easy walk to all the main sights, including the Cathedral, Alcazar, etc. I highly recommend this hotel for an authentic Sevillian experience!

Originally planned to stay in Seville for only three days but loved the city so much we tacked on a fourth day. March 9th to 12th, 2020; just prior to the Covid 19 lockdown. The hotel is well situated in the old quarter, very close to all the major sites. If you are not familiar with Sevilla, this area is maze like with narrow streets and alley ways. The Hotel Amadeus was very clean, charming and the staff was very accommodating. Especially Anna at the front desk who seemed to work tirelessly. Thank you, Anna. The hotel, like all buildings in the area are based on much older construction repurposed and renovated for tourism. Keep that in mind and you'll love the hotel. Would have given a rating of 5 but there was some renovation/maintenance going on at the other end of the hotel. It did not affect us.

It’s a really cute hotel with standard rooms being very spacious (with all essentials provided), and a beautiful interior in the common areas - musical instruments all around. They have a roof top terrace where you can get very yummy breakfast with an incredible view. There’s bar and jacuzzi, too. Perfect location within 5-15 min walk to all major sights, and lots of restaurants around. The ladies at the reception were absolutely charming and were able to accommodate any requests. We’ll be back!

Me and my partner visited this hotel for two nights in February 2020. The hotel is in an excellent location, only a 5 minute walk away from the city’s cathedral and the Alcazar. The hotel is beautifully decorated inside in a vintage style. The roof Terrance over looks the city and the cathedral and includes a bar and a jacuzzi which is open all day and evening. the breakfast was perfect - a mixture of fruits, yoghurt, meats and bread and we had this in the terrace every morning. The only reason this place gets 4 stars and not 5 is because of the noise from the building work which woke us up on both mornings at 8am which is quite early. Apart from that the hotel was perfect and I would definitely stay here again.
