Lovely hotel in old building in one of the narrow streets of Seville old quarter. Perfect atmosphere - furniture was very nice, classical music playing and CDs available to play in the room. Crystal decanters of sherry in the lobby lounges - what more could you want?? Staff were very helpful, recommended and booked an authentic flamenco performance nearby. Location... More

Perfectly located in the Santa Cruz area where the Alcazar and Cathedral are about a five-minute walk. You will be spoilt for choice with the many good bars, restaurants, shops around. Great pre-booking service, very quick response to all my emails and questions. Excellent staff where no request was too big to accommodate. We had an early trip to Cordoba... More

Stayed in a junior suite for 4 nights which was great for my wife and I plus a child. The room was spacious, with a nice size bathroom and comfy King size bed. The fold out supplementary bed was also comfy. Quiet room was well air conditioned which is a must in the summer months. The location is fantastic with... More

Nice staff, good breakfast and the location is great. Good atmosphere, free drinks in the many small living rooms in the hotel and the spa on the top terrace is a great feature in the very warm summer. However some strange details are hard to explain: Parking instructions are very important, as it is impossible to park at the hotel... More

Located in the Juderia, it is very close to "la movida" in the cathedral area. The neighborhood is a charm! The room was very clean and was very comfortable with modern decor that knew how to integrate aspects of antigo.afé building the morning very basic, but satisfactory. The service was attentive. The terrace is very nice. The only less positive... More

We were in Spain for Las Fallas in Valencia and Holy Week in Cordoba & Seville. Prices were higher everywhere during this time, making Hotel Amadeus a bit pricey for the level of the room, in the main hotel building, which was small with a tiny shower and a window overlooking an interior shaft. TV noise in the next room... More

Our group was two families traveling together and we each had a separate room. The staff was wonderful and gave excellent restaurant recommendations. Breakfast on the rooftop was a delight and wine in the evening up top was excellent too. Location was great for walking all around town.

If staying here make sure you explore the common rooms (and remember the hotel comprises two buildings, next to each other but with no way to get from one to another other than the front doors at street level) and the roof tops (one on each building). Reception never really told us about the roof top areas, which are fantastic... More

We stayed a few days to do sight seeing in Serville. Well appointed common space and good facility with a nice rooftop. Room was sizable as we stayed at the biggest suite in the hotel. Throughout the stay, we however didn't find any particular effort from the hotel staff to make our stay special. When we arrived later afternoon with... More

I recently had the chance to spend several nights at the Hotel Amadeus in Sevilla. The Amadeus is a former house converted into a boutique hotel and it still retains much of the feel of a private residence. Rooms are spacious and quiet, there a multiple common areas perfect for a cozy chat or writing in your journal, and the... More
