This hotel surpassed our expectations. Location couldn't have been better, with the Cathedral & Giralda, and Alcazar Palace & Gardens a 5 min walk from the hotel. On your walk to these impressive monuments, you can't help but pass by numerous tapas bars serving delicious food. One of our faves was La Bodega Santa Cruz, which had yummy tapas for...

I have just returned from my second trip to the excellent Hotel Alcantara in Seville. In the middle of Santa Cruz about 5 mins from the Real Alcazar , it is in in the most beautiful part of Seville. It is not the most luxurious hotel in the world , but you are not paying luxury prices. It is, however,...

The hotel is tucked away in Seville's Barrio de Santa Cruz. It is possible to get lost in this area, but we had a great map. It is in a convenient location, a 5 min. walk from the Cathedral and the Alcazar. There are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. it is also a 15 minute walk from...

Read the reviews in TripAdvisor, and decided to make a reservation at this hotel. It did not let us down. Terrific location, very helpful staff, comfortable room with air-conditioning that was quiet, and a very good breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Location: great, right on the edge of the Barrio Santa Cruz, where we spent most of our time, on a quiet pedestrian street. We were five minutes walk from the Cathedral and other sights. Hotel: clean, pretty room with small but perfectly adequate bathroom. Breakfasts were not luxurious, but they were fine with the usual juice, ham, cheese etc and...

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. Before we reached the place we were not happy with the as they had declined to book places at a Flamenco show that happens next doors to them - later came to know that most hotels dont work with show as they are not very organised in terms of advance bookings. That...

Just got back from Seville and stayed at the Alcantara. A really nice hotel, staff very friendly and can't help you enough. Bedrooms really nice, clean and tidied every day. Breakfast is really good and relaxing, plenty to choose from. Went for a meal on the first night to a restaurant (Alcamira) just down the road from the hotel. The...
