With a small number of rooms on the second floor, Michelin restaurant on the first floor and bistro/coffee shop on the grounds floor there is plenty to choose from at Alabardero. All the staff were friendly and helpful from check in to breakfast service. It's worth remembering that dining in Seville is a late evening experience with many restaurants opening...

We had initially planned to stay in Seville for just one night. Unfortunately, we had contracted the flu in England, and were deathly ill upon arrival. Upon arriving at the gorgeous hotel, which houses a Michelin star restaurant and cooking school as well as the boutique hotel rooms, the concierge immediately handled the parking of our car, our bags, and...

On a beautiful warm clear Seville evening following a cocktail in the Ground Floor Bar we were ushered by name into the vintage elevator to the 3rd or 4th floor where the Terraza outdoor rooftop restaurant was located. This was fine dining with a sensational view of the Seville skyline and about a 1km distance from the magnificent cathedral whose...

We only knew that this Taberna is a training school for hotel and catering students because our friends had been before. We chose to eat in the bistro rather than the café or the restaurant because we had already decided to have the fixed price 3 course meal for €19.90. This includes taxes but not drinks or service. Similar choices...

The architectural design of the room was fresh and clean: Multi level, with skylight windows. The food in the hotel was exceptionally good for Spain. (I recommend the garlic soup, which is much better than it sounds. For breakfast, just order eggs and the roll basket - otherwise, they'll give you a pretentious platter of tapas dainties which kind of...

Having traveled to Barcelona several times this year (my daughter goes to school there), I have developed a keen taste and affinity for the exhilarating Basque cuisine, and so it was a great joy to find this truly exceptional restaurant in Washington, DC. La Taberna Del Alabardero sits off the I Street NW, near the World Bank MC, set in...

My wife and I were recommended to go to this remarkable restaurant in Seville (we stayed at the Alfonso XIII ). What a beautiful restaurant! Stunning and the quality of food service and dining experience was superb. So much so we dined here twice during our stay in Seville. From the venison in puff pastry to the scallops to the...

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights (with another couple so there were 2 rooms we were familiar with). Ours was a very small, moderately clean room with windows facing inner courtyard. This was okay as it meant room was a bit quieter. The bed was hard as a rock, pillows thin and god only knows how old the...

Four fabulous days of being treated like royalty! If you are a "Foodie", this is the Holy Grail.... Breakfast was included, and included amazing treats that were served with loving care. On site are several schools, so every detail was tended to. We returned for lunches that were price fixed and marvelous. The Cento location was perfect for walking to...

A lovely hotel with very professional and attentive staff. It also functions as a training centre, so some of the staff you deal with will be very young and a little scared, but doing everything they can to be helpful. The location is ideal, you can walk to all of the major attractions of the city from here. A bonus...
