We went to Seville for a romantic relaxing short break. We stayed in this hotel in the superior double for 3 nights. From the moment we walked into our superior room things went wrong. We walked into a noisy room, a fan somewhere in the roof making one hell of a noise. Reception send some one around and it was...

A rambling disjointed collection of courtyards, rooms, plants, balconies and windows. This is a rabbit warren and easy to get a little lost. All that after trying to find it in a maze of narrow streets and forget about trying to park - give your car keys to the porter! But this place is a gem. Fantastic location, lovely place....

This is definitely a unique hotel, beautiful and friendly. It isn't the most comfortable of rooms but nice enough. The bed is pretty uncomfortable - I would definitely recommend improving the bed and linens. The bath area is nice.

Spent a 2-night weekend here in mid-November. The TA reviews do not adequately convey the idiosyncracy of the place. Upon arrival at Reception they give you a map to find your room, in one of the 27 houses that are connected together by a maze of alleyways, tunnels (lots), courtyards and even crossing public thoroughfares. When we found room 445...

Great location, people really helpful, loved the old, quirky, individualised, maze like nature of the place with each room having its own character. Good bed, good shower, some great tapas restaurants and gelato shops within easy walking distance

We liked it a lot but it's not going to be to everyone's taste. It is very big and the rooms surround a number of lovely courtyards which are full of plants and flowers. It's beautiful. But getting from one's room to reception is a trip, literally! They give you a map of the Hotel when you check in. The...

This hotel is not too much to look at on the outside but on the inside it is a treasure of courtyards, fountains and grandeur furniture. The hotel staff are the best we have come across as nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast is good and the hotel is central to all the old parts of Seville. We...

We arrived late on 1st November, not realising that this was a public holiday and the hotel was very busy. We were allocated room 449 and taken there by the most complex route imaginable; up and down lifts and stairs, through alleyways, even out of the hotel. I found out later that the hotel is owned by a Duke and...

This had all the feel of old Seville. The faded grandure of the 'older' styled rooms amidst the beautiful courtyards and labyrinthine layout of the hotel (including the tunnels) gave us a great introduction to the city. Loads of tapas bars just outside the door. Really helpful staff booked us in to a truly authentic flamenco performance at El Arenal....

The hotel is in an excellent location and is a group of lovely old houses with picturesque courtyards, it's great fun trying to find your away around the hotel. Our room was good but the bathroom poor with mold around the bath and generally very tatty. I would certainly avoid breakfast, it is served in a room without natural light...

Dear guest, Thank you for reviewing our hotel. We're happy you enjoyed the overall layout of our Casas. As you may know, the hotel is composed of 27 traditional sevillian houses that we have carefully restored and converted into a hotel. All rooms are completely different as they have been specially designed to respect the existing architecture. Breakfast is served...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the heart of Seville's old jewish quarter, just 6 minutes walking distance from the Cathedral, a modern service and classic decoration converge in the hotel Las Casas de la Juderia. History fills the air in this magnificent ensemble of 27 fifteenth century traditional houses restored to harmoniously reflect the authentic feel of the serpentine neighborhood that surrounds it. The vibrant colors of the 40 patios (typical Andalusian courtyards) and the friendly service mirror the true character of Andalusia. Fountains, statues and roman amphoras decorate the winding passageways that connect the 134 rooms. Las Casas de la Juderia offers an array of services for your enjoyment: a tapas bar and a restaurant both indoors and outdoors, a rooftop swimming pool to enjoy a selection of tapas and cocktails (May-Sept.), Live music in the piano-bar from Thursdays to Sundays, a spa decorated with roman mosaics, several meeting rooms and spaces to organize events, reunions or seminars, and a large breakfast area located in hotel's "Mirror's Hall." Located in the heart of the city center, Las Casas de la Juderia offers a superbly convenient access to some of the most symbolic landmarks of southern Spain such as the Giralda, Reales Alcazares, Casa de Pilatos and Jardines de Murillo. Parking is ensured by our valets. ... more   less
