We stayed here at some friends suggestion and it really was quite remarkable. It is comprised of a number of separate properties all brought together with courtyards and stairway and a pool on the roof of a number of them! You really did need the map. Very close to the centre of Seville with friendly staff. Good food in the... More

The hotel has a novel layout, being spread out over many houses and linked by shady courtyards, tunnels and passages. We visited in august when it very hot but the hotel gave good shelter, though our one trip to the rooftop pool found it too crowded to find anywhere to sit. Room was clean and bed was reasonably comfortable though... More

Great little find of a hotel. Quirky , different and fantastic location. Interconnection series of houses in the old Jewish quarter of Seville. Great location and most of historic sites all within easy walking distance of hotel. We stayed in room 1 which was a lovely, large superior room. The hotel oozes charm and character. Rooms are comfortable and all... More

This hotel is a lovely hotel in a good location - it's bigger than it looks and is like a little maze inside! The air conditioning keeps the room nice and cool and the rooftop pool is lovely, although don't expect to swim lengths. Wifi doesn't reach most rooms which is frustrating but not the end of the world. The... More

the hotel is amazing, very nice patios, located in a good location, behind the cathedral. The service of the hotel was not so good. We had to call twice to come and clean the room, at 4pm still was not cleaned. They forgot to put the amenities each day. The floor was not cleaned and the air conditioning had a... More

We stayed for a week in this luxurious and unusual hotel. The ambience here matches perfectly the beautiful city, and we had a very relaxing stay even though situated right in the centre of the city attractions. Some reviewers have criticised the wifi (which does not reach to most of the rooms) I think that by contrast it's actually a... More

Staying in hotels is one of my favorite parts of travelling. And when I travel, there is an ideal I always look for in a hotel; a place that is truly unique, beautiful, representative of the city I am visiting, and well-situated. A hotel that could never be accused of being just another chain hotel, because it is not "like"... More

Having stayed there twice now, I can say that Las Casas de la Juderia is the best place to stay in Sevilla. It is in the perfect location, you can walk in minutes to the Giralda, the Alcazar and many other sights. The hotel itself is more original and charming than the other luxury hotels in the city. Each room... More

This is a collection of about 20+ old buildings all made in to a hotel. You wander around little courtyards and through arches to find your rooms - and need a map to find the reception again! Really well located in the heart of the old city (about 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral) - this is a good spot... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In the heart of Seville's old jewish quarter, just 6 minutes walking distance from the Cathedral, a modern service and classic decoration converge in the hotel Las Casas de la Juderia. History fills the air in this magnificent ensemble of 27 fifteenth century traditional houses restored to harmoniously reflect the authentic feel of the serpentine neighborhood that surrounds it. The vibrant colors of the 40 patios (typical Andalusian courtyards) and the friendly service mirror the true character of Andalusia. Fountains, statues and roman amphoras decorate the winding passageways that connect the 134 rooms. Las Casas de la Juderia offers an array of services for your enjoyment: a tapas bar and a restaurant both indoors and outdoors, a rooftop swimming pool to enjoy a selection of tapas and cocktails (May-Sept.), Live music in the piano-bar from Thursdays to Sundays, a spa decorated with roman mosaics, several meeting rooms and spaces to organize events, reunions or seminars, and a large breakfast area located in hotel's "Mirror's Hall." Located in the heart of the city center, Las Casas de la Juderia offers a superbly convenient access to some of the most symbolic landmarks of southern Spain such as the Giralda, Reales Alcazares, Casa de Pilatos and Jardines de Murillo. Parking is ensured by our valets. ... more   less
