There can be no better place than the Alfonso XIII to represent Seville... The architecture is so stylish and Sevillan, the staff is very professional , bedding is perfect , the food good and the pool area is a small paradise in the dead center of the city, where it all happens. Nothing could go wrong...

As a result of the provincial perimetral restriction due to the pandemic, we decided it would worth a go, so we took the chance to try a fabulous hotel everybody living in Seville is aquainted with, from the outside at least... The experience had to be a short one (the package deal being appealing but still the tag price is somewhat intimidating) so we spent just one night and tried to make the most of it. And we did it! Admiring the building itself (halls, vast landings, interior patio, stairs, vintage elevator, exposed brick architecture) pays off the majority of the little investment. But also the service and staff in general performs extremely well. We had some qualms, followinga bunch of opinions, that we might experience the unpleasant feeling of being out of our class but there was nothing of the sort during our short stay. The staff was truly commited and performed their duties with kindness and professionalism. We did our part too. Dinner (fixed menu, included in the deal) was good too. Breakfast (à la carte) was superb: delicious eggs benedict. Room was beautiful (although still on the lower range of quality room this hotel has to offer, with prices rocketing easily if you let your fancy unrestrained) and somewhat luxurious. Nice view of the Puerta de Jerez. Location is unbeatable: some people were making their entrance stepping out of a Bentley, we came directly from the metro ;) Swimming pool was most enjoyable; fitness room crammed with top notch exercising machinery. You might want to exercise outside, facing the pool. To cut a long story short: we've been sweetly pampered but not spoiled. We're believers now and just looking for the next available opportunity to give it another go. If you're a local who hasn't tried yet, you should consider it

The hotel is outstanding, it makes you feel you are in a museum. The staff is professional and nice, helping with anything you need. I understand right now the hotel is not on its full potential however food options were too limited and breakfast was way too slow, I had to wait 45 minutes for an omelette. The gym equipment is nice but the fitness area is freezing and way too small. As a Marriott member I wish I had a note from the GM, some detail to make our stay feel more special (And more when they have not many guest at this time). After my stay I emailed the GM to tell him my experience, he did not even personally answered me, someone at front desk answered for him, which I find very unprofessional when my email was sent directly to him and he decided to forward it and ignored a guest, that's left me with a bad feeling. Overall, amazing hotel, great staff, poor management.

Definitely the best place to stay in Seville. Beautiful hotel in the best location close to everything. Our room was huge with luxurious finishings. Great courtyard to hang out and have drinks in. Would definitely return. Only tip- if coming in a rental car- it is very confusing to know where to drive when you arrive for check in. You feel like your driving into a side walk. Unfortunately I don't know how to describe it much better than that. Just be prepared for it to be a little tricky.

My Family and I stayed here for 12 nights in July during the pandemic. What can I say? the staff are extremely helpful and courteous. As a wheelchair user I contacted the hotel and liaised with Eva regarding the best room option. The room provided was exceptional with no steps a walk in shower and shower stool it was perfect. The location of the hotel is enviable and an ideal location to explore with ease. My only slight negatives are the cost of breakfast seemed excessive and the wheelchair access arrangements in the evening. The side door is locked and as such my father had to go into the hotel and ask for someone to open it- had I been on my own this would be impossible. All in all I had a great stay and would no doubt return in the future.
