Location What stood out the most to me about this hotel is the fact that we could always find it by following the smell. Its very unassuming from the outside, you could walk pass it except that the lovely smell coming from inside always made us back track. Really though, the location is not far from most of the main attraction. We did not have to take a cab anywhere except from the San Justa Train Station. Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza 8 mins walk Mercado de Triana 12 mins walk Catedral de Seville St. Mary of the See 12 mins walk Real Alcazar 15 mins walk Plaza de Espana 20 mins walk Parque de Maria Luisa 25 mins walk There is also great shopping in and around the hotel. Service Service here is excellent. They really tried to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I was there with my 2 year old daughter and they were always so patient with us. I must mention the ladies that serve us at breakfast Anna and Mona who noticed my daughter had on a hello kitty shoes and brought her hello kitty pics to color. I must also mention Alberto who checked us in, so professional and courteous and Angel at the front door who never miss helping us when we needed it. Angel was right there when I needed assistance. Really great staff. Also, paying for red level service was worth every penny. The food in executive lounge was always good and can save you quite a bit of money. Room and pool Again, this is where the hotel stood out. I absolutely loved the painting on my room door which I took a picture of to remind me of my stay. The suite though small was very modern and cleannnn. The bathroom is where this hotel lost points. Although the bathroom was beautiful, the design of the vanity was not practical. As soon as the water started flowing it made a splash and cause a mess. Also, as usual the shower installment leaked. Pool Small and is really for cooling off from the oppressive heat; however the view is absolutely gorgeous, I would go as far as calling it celestial. If you are there at the right time when the sun is setting, the glass around the pool makes it seem like there are three suns. Crazy !! Seville was my favorite city in Spain and without a doubt, if I ever traveled back to Seville, this is where my family would stay.

Hotel's Favorite
I stayed here for 3 nights with my husband in May. We had been to the Melia Colon before in 2016, and it was positive but not perfect. Based on those visits, I wanted to try another hotel but my husband insisted we come back again. I am happy he did, we had a great stay and I would absolutely come here again. We came because we had tickets to a big football (soccer) match, and I think this hotel is accustomed to guests attending sporting events. I wasnt sure if my tickets were going to be delivered in time, so I had entered the address of the hotel as an alternate delivery address. Upon check-in, the lady was looking nervous and I asked why. She said she was expecting a courier for us, but it had not arrived. I was happily able to share that I had luckily gotten the tickets the day before at another location. This hotel was busy! I was so pleased that she even noticed I was expecting something! Our room was beautiful, and this time nothing in it was broken or sub-standard. The beds are very comfortable, and we slept really well. Theres a bit of nighttime noise in this area, but if you are ready for it, it wont bother you so much. Plus, its Seville - everyone is out until at least 2 so.... The bathroom is great, the rooms are nice, the bar is great - the Red Level Lounge is especially great if you like that kind of thing. The best thing though, is concierge Tatiana. What a nice lady! She was able to organize everything we needed in about 5 minutes, and with no drama - a miracle, especially during the Copa del Rey wow. She organized a car to bring us to the stadium and bring us back again, and this actually worked perfectly! I have seen games just about all over the world - and have walked back from a fair number of stadiums.... and this man was right there waiting for us. I couldnt believe it. Thank you Tatiana! She also organized a great restaurant for us, plus another transportation down to Malaga. I would actually come back just for her to be honest. Great stay, thank you very much. Highly recommend. Plus the Colon is right in the middle of Seville, you can walk to many attractions which is a huge plus.

Good: location. Mediocre: - Service: staff is trying hard (Luis) but execution of requests and make up of the room not consistent. - Room: bath (hard to get in and out), lighting (too complicated), room amenities (in general poor quality for 5 star hotel). - Breakfast: not a lot of variety and staff is not qualified enough to execute requests. - Quality of the hotel restaurant. Bad: Wrong information from concierge (so-called city expert) and arrogant attitude of Michelle, manager on duty, to handle our complaint that we´ve wasted a whole day based on the information given to us. We were very looking forward to celebrate our anniversary and were disappointed in general. The hotelmanager on duty didn´t make us feel welcome. The so-called bad apple that has spoiled the whole experience of a 6 nights stay at the hotel. We would not recommend this hotel if you expect 5 star quality and doubt that we would return.

We (a family of 3 with a 7 month old baby) had a fabulous 4 day stay here. It’s in a great location, 10-15 minutes walk away from the main sights. It’s spotlessly clean and all the staff were amazing, nothing was ever too much trouble. Breakfast was incredible, the beds were super comfortable & the clarins toiletries were an unexpected luxury. The only negative was the cost of parking (34 euros a night). You can park elsewhere for slightly less money or even for free (on the other side of the river) but with a baby & all the luggage that goes with one, we decided to take the financial hit. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Seville.

Fantastic hotel and great location. The staff were so helpful from checking in to the concierge who provided an amazing restaurant recommendation. In particular was Rosa in the Red Level Lounge - just perfect! Amazing room with great view and terrace.
