A hotel of charm and character with a staff whose good humor and helpfulness won't quit. Location could not be better and I would recommend a stay here to anyone heading to enchanting Granada. Appreciated the afternoon tea and evening cocktails, also!

My husband and I had a lovely stay at this hotel the staff couldn't do enough for you and made us feel really welcome. The room we had was a the front of the hotel so it was nice to watch the world go by and listen to the river. The breakfast was good plenty to choose from.

Recommended by our friends this was perfect for us. Small, friendly and understated with an arty vibe. The rooms were ideal for us. A million miles from generic, multinationals. The staff were helpful and knowledgable with excellent recommendations for restaurants and tapas. The location is right under the Alhambra and a short stroll from bars and restaurants. Highly recommended.

This hotel is situated perfectly for walking around Granada and seeing all of the sites. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We asked for a recommendation for tapas restaurants in the area and Sonia asked us to tell her how we liked them after. She gave great recommendations! I would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful hotel near Plaza Nueva with an amazing staff each of the 4 days we were there. Breakfast buffet was a very nice option. Although our room was located on the side of the building and not facing the river, the noise was still a major problem each night.

I had considered hotels on the gran via, but the location of this intimate classic hotel is much better. A very tastefully decorated classic hotel with outstanding staff. I spent a week at the hotel, partly to see the city and partly to ride my bike in the mountains outside Granada. A perfect combination of cultural stimulation and physical exertion,... More

The excellent service began even before we arrived: Ariadna at the front desk very efficiently coordinated private tours of the Albaycin and the Alhambra for us. Both went off without a hitch. The tour guide that she booked, Miguel, knew took us on a very interesting in-depth exploration of Granada and its rich history. The hotel is located at the... More

The hotel is located at the foot of the Alhambra. A historical building overlooking the Darrow River. The hotel rooms are beautiful with all the items you would expect of a high end luxury hotel. 24 hour concierge who was most helpful in assisting my husband at 6:00am to make me a cup of tea. Beautiful internal courtyard with local... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A building from the 16th century has become a hotel, taking its spirit from the essence of Juan Ramon Jimenez's journey and his poems. Its privileged location in the heart of Granada, at the foot of the Albayzin; its rooms bathed in the light of the Alhambra; its colonnaded patio; its lounge, vestibule and well/cistern...
