This really is a lovely place-gorgeous building, great location, atmospheric rooms and friendly, helpful staff. BUT! We were woken in the night by the aircon unit (or something) in the room below us (I think) which was incredibly noisy, running at ten minute intervals (just as you thought you were safe) all night. I cracked and went down to reception,... More

This place is absolutely lovely. Wonderful service, gorgeous rooms (we had one step up from the basic room, overlooking the river), and very central. We booked our tickets to the Alhambra through them and it couldn't have been easier. Also, they serve complimentary sherry in the library in the evenings, which was perfect after a day out in the cold... More

A typical casa andaluza with simple decor but fantastic details. Very comfortable room. Great location in front of the river Darro and its pebbled street. In the Albaicín, a neighborhood that seems emerging from the past. The best part of our stay was our brief chats with the receptionist, so nice and knowledgeable, who provided useful information about where to... More

From The Generalife Room, you just have to Open the windows to enjoy The Sights, The sound of the Darro. Literally One step away from The Alhambra, The Cathedral and of course the best tapas. A really quiet place. The staff lovely and friendly.

This boutique hotel is located off of a main square on a pedestrian walkway under the Alhambra…..just a great location close to very good restaurants and walking distance to the caves of Sacramonte. The service was not as good as other hotels we stayed at in Madrid (Hotel Preciados) or in Sevilla (Casa del Poeta). In fact, on our day... More

Upon arrival, we were invited to complimentary snacks and sherry in their library each evening. Our room faced the Alhambra on the street side, but there were no good views due to the landscape, trees, etc. Our front balcony allowed sights of the street activity. A babbling stream with calming properties combatted the street noise where it was worse on... More

Charming and centrally located Hotel with spacious rooms - would deserve an extra star any day. Nicely located by the old river. Personal service, however breakfast for 13,50 euros seem a bit much for what they offer. Very nice surroundings in the old town, however don't bring Your car or park it outside of the old city.

This is a great hotel in an excellent location. It has the Rio Darro directly in front, and it is centrally located for everywhere you would want to go to as a tourist (the Alhambra, of course, but also the Albaicin area, the Plaza Nueva, the town centre, etc). It is a beautiful boutique hotel in a converted "mansion". We... More

We loved this place!!! Within a walking distance to most historical places. Our bedroom had a little bit of a view of the Alhambra, but a tree blocked most of it. The service was excellent and the staff always tried to make sure you had the right information. Our room was a little noisy due to overlooking a street, so... More

The rooms are charming however, the beds are old and the towels etc are way beyond expiration date. The receptionists are very unhelpful. The wifi was not working in the rooms for over 2 days and they were not willing to look into the problem. Hospitality training greatly needed.
