Our host was extremely helpful. It is a quirky, bright, open attractive hotel. The room was a good size and nice. Just a pleasant place to stay that has an excellent location. Remember to park at the nearest parking lot as you must walk to hotel. No road access for private cars. .

El ladron the aqua is situated in the centre of Granada ,next to the riverbedding. It's only accessible by bus or taxi. We parked our car at the palacio congresos parking at the entrance of the city (coming from Jaen)and took a taxi there. The cost of the drive was less than 6 euros, our 4 suitcases included. The hotel...

We stayed here for a few days at the beginning of May. It is a lovely, small hotel. The room was simple but comfortable. Our room was at the front on the second floor. The Calle del Darro, the street outside the door, is very busy all day but was surprisingly quiet at night. We kept the window open and...

We stayed two nights and had a wonderful time. We stayed in the Generalife Suite which was large, good size bathroom and view up to the Alhambra. It was also on a very pleasant street next to a lovely waterway. There was complimentary sherry each afternoon in the library, which we did not have time to enjoy. The breakfast was...

Fabulous hotel. Friendly and classy. Library a lovely oasis of calm with tea on tap (and sherry later...). From room at front of the hotel you could hear the river. Surprisingly once the windows closed we weren't really bothered by the noise from the road. Great location. Staff excellent.

The hotel is situated in the historic area of the town, a couple of minutes walk from the Plaza Nuova where you can catch buses around town and where the Tourist Information shop is situated. There was a little bit of noise at night from a neighbouring bar but very little really. The hotel is spacious, clean and efficiently run....

This was a great choice. Stayed in the Generalife suite on the top floor and had a great view of the Alhambra and the surrounding area. The room was really cool with a lot of character and all the amenities. The location is perfect . We walked up the hill to the Alhambra in 15-20 minutes. This is a boutique...

El Landron de Agua was located just below Alhambra just off Plaza Nueva. We had close access to all the sites in Granada. The hotel was great. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and kept us going through the day we visited Alhambra. We could not have asked for more and...

Great location, fantastic reception staff - knowledgeable and so helpful, their restaurant recommendations were superb. Good value for money. We were luck enough to have a room facing the river with a balcony which was wonderful. We enjoyed the art too.

All looked smart and fresh so seems a relatively recent addition to the Grenada hotel scene, within a historic building. Lovely touches- welcoming fizz for my birthday, complimentary sherry in the library, a modern fountain in the atrium, and spacious beamed rooms- plus very warm and friendly reception staff made it a very enjoyable place to stay. Personally, I was...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A building from the 16th century has become a hotel, taking its spirit from the essence of Juan Ramon Jimenez's journey and his poems. Its privileged location in the heart of Granada, at the foot of the Albayzin; its rooms bathed in the light of the Alhambra; its colonnaded patio; its lounge, vestibule and well/cistern... All these charms will lead you to the sound of water, and to a peace that will give you inner harmony. ... more   less
