This marvelously charming B&B is a superb accommodation in Granada for people who have at least a smattering of Spanish. The owner & hostess, Lorena, is wonderfully courtly and thoughtful, the personification of considerateness. She really means "Mi casa es su casa" when she says this to guests. My wife and I found her restaurant recommendations highly accurate and we...

Unbelievably beautiful house, lovingly restored by the owner Lorena who welcomed me & showed me around. I have never stayed in such a lovely place. It felt just like I was a guest in her home rather than staying in a hotel. Don't expect a 24 hour reception desk & fancy add-ons, but if you love quality, atmosphere, surroundings &...

I agree with all of the prior wonderful things people had to say about this warm, family-run B&B. Here is what you need to know about how to find it! Print this and take it with you: When the taxi drops you near the address there will be a bridge to your right and steps to your left. Go up...

My sister and I stayed at the Carmen Del Cobertizo on a visit to Granada. Despite a language barrier (our problem not theirs!), we were blown away by the house and the accommodation. The decor is very attractive. With fantastic views of the Alhambra and a lovely roof terrace, this was a real gem. One word of warning is that...

The location is unbeatable, situated at the foot of the Albaicin but close to Plaza Nueva and Center City. It is down a small pathway which adds to the experience and provides some peace and quiet. The owners are lovely and take excellent care of guests. The garden and layout of the house are beautiful.

This is a really beautiful house, and perfectly located for exploring the Albaicin and visiting the Alhambra. Our room was very comfortable, with lovely old furniture and a view of the courtyard garden - our favourite part of the whole hotel! It was a relief to be able to sit in the shade or dip into the plunge pool when...

You are on the edge of the Albaicin but close to the centre of the City. There is a wonderful view of the Alhambra, the hotel has a beautiful courtyard and your room is spacious and spotlessly clean. Even at the weekend this is an oasis of peace in an otherwise noisy city. There are of course lots of things...

The Carmen Del Cobertizo is a gem in the perfect location within Granada. While the hotel is in a small side street, it's less than a 5 minute walk to a bus stop serving the Alhambra, Albaycin, and other popular attractions within Granada. There are dozens of restaurants in the area, and we felt safe walking at night. The hotel...

A unique, amazing hotel. Well, not really a hotel, more like someones house. Complete lack of English spoken, but we got by and she was extremely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and she hugged and kissed my daughter lots! Breakfast was included and very good - eggs, ham, even a granadian tart on our second morning. Beautiful room with...

The property is indeed very beautiful - so historic and well maintained. We booked through i-escape and were upgraded to a suite with an amazing view of the Alhambra. It is a light-filled, large, peaceful room. But our experience of the place did not tally with the other reviews. When we arrived the door was opened by a startled looking...
