Hotel Casa 1800 Granada is a charming hotel located in a fully restored XVI century historical building, the building is known as Casa de los Migueletes and served as the headquarters of the militia at the time. The hotel is decorated with chandeliers, frescos, cupolas and luxurious furnishings, always in keeping with the noble wood of the building whilst highlighting the Classicist and Mudejar elements of the original house. The rooms are elegant and cozy, some enjoy views of the Alhambra, inner courtyards, coffered ceilings and offer all kinds of amenities. The House is organised around a central courtyard where each morning breakfast is served and in the afternoon tea is offered to the hotel guests, who are treated to a family atmosphere and making the stay special and unforgettable. The charming hotel has a privileged location in the centre of Granada between the magical Albaicin and at the foot of the Alhambra. Nearby there are museums, theatres, monuments, shops, restaurants and tapas bars.

This hotel is near the Plaza Nuevo. It is on a quiet side street and it it very quiet. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The afternoon tea was nice . The room was comfortable. It is a beautiful building that has a central courtyard. Nice to have coffee and water available.

5 out of 5!!!! My expectations were already high for Hotel Casa 1800, but the actual room, facility, and the staff far exceeded our expectations!!!!! The facility is gorgeous and extremely well maintained. It is also well located and made everything very walkable for us. A highlight was the bottle of champagne and a wonderful note waiting for us when we checked in. Finally the staff was incredible. Friendly, always willing to help, and addressed most needs well before asked. We WILL be going back.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The building is very unique and interesting and our room was spacious with a luxurious bathroom and view of the Alhambra. Air conditioning, WiFi, and bath amenities were top-notch. Breakfast buffet was amzing with lots of choices; we didn't have afternoon tea but it looked nice. We appreciated the 24 hour coffee and water availability, too. I feel it was a great deal for the price we paid!

This was a thoughtful hotel, where the staff was eager to help. hold luggage for us? Sure. call a cab (and explain where it would show up)? yes. Mid afternoon tea? absolutely- and would we like to go while they checked us in? The room was a touch warm during the day(which I’ll bet is standard) but perfectly cool at night - and the inside courtyard made a cool hangout when we didn’t want to be in the room. If you don’t walk easily do check if there are steps to your room. Wonderful location for Alhambra, old town sites, and shopping, - and the price was right.

Loved this hotel. Great location, great decor, very comfy beds, amazing courtyard for relaxing where free afternoon tea and Vermouth is served. The team were very polite and could not do enough. A real oasis of calm and luxury in the city. We stayed three nights. First in a deluxe room and last two in a Junior suite. Loved both. Great bars nearby on the square too. Enjoy if you choose to stay. You wont be disappointed.

Great experience. Authentic & Highly Recommend; but don’t plan on driving to the lobby door especially with Apple Maps (You can get a taxi within 50 meters though). If driving , park at a remote garage and walk or taxi there. The location is central and walking distance to most anything. This town is all about walking; which is where you will find the cool places a little off the main paths. I am grateful for the champagne because now my teenage boys have less interest in alcohol. The breakfast and courtyard was delightful. Tried Bodega Castaneda at recommendation of staff and was very impressed.

Dear guest! Thank you for choosing Hotel casa 1800 for your stay in Granada. We are glad to know that you enjoyed your stay in the city and in our hotel. One of the key points of the establishment is that it is located in the heart of the Albaicin neighborhood, one of the oldest neighborhoods of the city and that makes the stay magical. Thank you very much for taking a few minutes of your time to leave us this comment. We hope to see you again soon. Best regards

Boutique hotel, well located in the old town. The courtyard area is amazing to look at, here you’re offered breakfast as well as afternoon tea. The room we stayed in was on the small side, equally the bed was not that comfortable, which combined with us being in a front facing room directly above a cobbled street made for a sleepless night. The occasional noise of trolleys getting pulled along the street was not the hotels fault, however just worth noting that it might be wise to request a room that does not face that direction.

We have arrived in Granada and the parking is to far from the hotel, then we took a taxi and experienced the nightmare with the lugagge. Once we have arrived we found out that the price of the room is 60 euros pre night and we have payed 300 euros per night!!!!!! They told me prices change!!! No option to upgrade. So instead of 123 duros for 2 nights, we are paying 600 euros!!!! And it is my husband’s birthday. This is how you shouldn’t manage the touristic venue. They destoryed the amazing scenery of Granada.

Dear Mrs. Lakovic, First of all let me thank you for taking the time to leave a comment about Hotel Casa 1800. I am very sorry that you did not have a great experience with us. Please accept our apologies for the challenges that you faced. Due to the excellent location of our hotel in the heart of the old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, accessibility by car is very limited. Although we would like to be able to offer a closer parking to our clients, the location of the establishment does not allow it. We hope that you will give us another opportunity to welcome you back. Kind Regards,

I will start with the positives because there are a few. Lovely staff, great location and beautiful place. Negatives though, AC only works when in your room as you need your key card and obviously stinking hot in July and when you want to escape the heat, you can't return to your room as equally as hot. I asked about this but wasnt a real fix to the situation. No smoking area anywhere in the hotel, room was tiny, even for one person, could hardly find space to open my suitcase and I stayed in the 'Deluxe Superior". For the money it cost I would think there are better option, the place I stayed in Seville was considerable cheaper and far superior.
