Everything was fine. For the price we paid I expected a few more bells& whistles. You are paying a or the premium for the location. You can walk right over to the Alahambra while others are left to walk up and down hills to get on the grounds. Breakfast was excellent.

The Granada Parador is reportedly the most expensive in the entire Parador network; while this may or may not be the case, it is - sadly - far from the best. The unique selling point (and I mean 'unique' in the sense of 'only') is the hotel's location within the grounds of the Alhambra Palace, the implication being that a... More

We had a wonderful trip to the Alhambra, and it was so cool to be able to stay on the grounds at the Parador. The service is outstanding, and the hotel has been modernized to a "T" with understated, modern, luxury, We would have preferred a more traditional "feel" but it was still incredibly lovely. My mother wasn't feeling well... More

the location is fantastic ,,,,,right on the Alhombra grounds and you have access to wander thru spots that the tourists do not have access . We where in the modern part of the parador and the rooms were very nice.....but all this comes with a pretty steep price. one problem was the front desk sent 3 of our suitcases to... More

We stayed 2 nights to celebrate a 40th wedding anniversary and had quite a bit of difficulty finding it by car although hotel said that if we had booked directly with them instead of using the central parador booking service they would have sent us a detailed map which would have helped. The location, historic buildings, views and gardens could... More

Having read the other reviews I honestly feel that we stayed in a different place. The parador was stunning, the room was wonderful, the service helpful, friendly and professional but above all, the location. Words cannot describe it. And once the crowds had gone (or before they arrived in the morning), it was truly magnificent. It is expensive, but worth... More

We stayed for three nights in this historic old convent. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We had a two floor suite, with a living room and bath downstairs and the bedroom upstairs, which gave us a fabulous, 360, view of the Alhambra and Granada. Everything was extremely modern, sleek and clean. However, there is almost zero storage space - not... More

Having been misinformed and told that the older section was still traditionally and beautifully furnished I contacted the hotel with a request stating why I preferred the older section. The hotel replied they could only accommodate me in a very expensive suite which I reserved. Upon arrival we found the suite to be a downstairs dungeon (one clerestory window) cheaply... More

We only came in for a coffee after visiting the Alhambra. Inside the cafe it's nice and spacious (too spacious maybe?) with sofa's to relax after an exhausting walk across palaces and gardens, all modern in an old building. The first time we ordered, nothing happened. Probably a change in shifts? The second time we did get our coffee finally,... More

We didn't stay at the Parador (we had 12 years before), but our little hotel (the Wonderful Hotel America, about three minutes walk away and also inside the Alhambra) doesn't do dinner. So night one, we went to the Parador resto. Food was OK, service was awful (they ARE government employees, and it shows), and prices risible (hey, I'm from... More
