Pros: located in restored monastery from 1400, preferred and easy access to complex allowing breaks at hotel and beautiful early am and late pm strolls, extremely clean, modern design, phenomenal breakfast-try eggs Benedict, almond cake-best cake I've ever tasted. Cons: stark, limited amenities, not 5 star standards for 5 star price but you are here for location. Rooms 103 and...

Staying on the grounds of The Alhambra is an incredible experience You are able to tour some of the grounds after hours and enjoy the sight without hordes of people Seeing all of the Alhambra still requires a ticket which the hotel was nice to arrange for us. The second best part for us was the restaurant. A casual lunch...

The location is amazing but the staff is absolutely of no care about the guests. The check-out experience was absolutely a lack of hospitality leaving us without any care with the luggage on a very rainny day and not even offering anew umbrella. The restaurant that is even worst tHan the front desk. The bartender was reading a newspaper, the...

Excellent hotel in a world heritage site with parking included. Its location gives privileged access to the outside of the Alhambra monuments after the other tourists have long disappeared. Very pricey, however.

We stayed in the Parador de Granada for two days during our honeymoon. Truly a paradise. It is right inside the Alhambra. It is an old monastery which has been converted into a palace Hotel Aristocrats like Kofi annan and Michelle Obama have visited this place, which makes it all the more special. The hotel staff are very friendly and...

Not worth extra money for a room upgrade – a desk employee tried to make it appear that we were getting a deal because of a cancellation. When we did not accept he pretended to make a call to the manager and lowered the price - don't fall for it (we did). Dinner at the Parador was good but breakfast...

Parador de Granada in La Alahambra gardens is beautiful, comfortable and historic. History combined with beautifully designed rooms and halls define this hotel. It is a unique opportunity to be able to spend a few nights in an old Franciscan monastery ........a magnificent experience. We walk from our hotel through the Alhambra gardens and to the palaces with the help...

Being right on the door step of the Alhambra you pay a premium price. It is no better or worse than other Paradores we have stayed in. The room we were in overlooked the gardens and the Alhambra and had the most complicated shower I have ever seen. Unfortunately all the controls were on the side and were not marked...

We were looking for a place to dine with a great evening view of the Alhambra. The Parador is really cool, because it is within the Alhambra, but the dining experience was not special. The dining room is very old-school hotel or country club feeling. The food was decent but noting amazing. Because it was night and we had to...

Dear Tracey, Thank you for sharing your comment. As the Parador is located inside the Alhambra walls the views during the night are not so spectacular as during the day.

Living in part of the history is a must-try life time experience. The stay was memorable and distinguishable from all the othe Paradores. Food in the restaurant was good too. Waking up with the Palace was the best memory of it all.
