This is a real 'find' as a Hotel. We had a long standing ambition to visit the Alhambra Palace. This Hotel is a converted monastery right next to the Nasri Palace and Art Museum, in the Place itself. Consequently, you can have dinner on the restaurant terrace looking at the Generalife Palace as the sun sets. It is incredible. We... More

Hotel is located in a beautiful setting in the Allhambra gardens. The property has so much history, great for exploring. The rooms we had were beautiful and had everything we needed including robes and slippers. The dining room terrace is not to be missed and overlooks the gardens. The food and service are excellent so you'll want to reserve during... More

I booked the Parador because of its location inside the Alhambra. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that this hotel is not only about its location, it was excellent all around. We had two very nice comfortable rooms, one with views of the gardens and the other with views of the Generalife. The service, building and breakfast were all... More

The costs are high and it might not be worth it but the place is nice - other reviewers make the point that you can spend this money and get better service etc in other places in Spain and they are right. However there is no other similar hotel in the complex. By the way the restaurant there is not... More

To be honest, this place deserves 4.5 stars, but I only give 5 for the best of the best. And this probably the hotel with the best view in the world. You have views of the Alhambra from many places, including from the restaurant terrace. And with such a great view, you don´t worry too much about the slow service... More

If you visit the Alhambra and you have some time, just enter the parador hotel for a drink and a bite on their terrace. Surprisingly not too expensive! You have a beautiful view on a part of the gardens. The terrace is shady and sprinkeled. The only challenge is to find it cause they keep it well hidden!

Location: what else to say? Best location, shortest walks, best views. Situated in an old convent of San Francisco. Very impressive. We took a guided tour and this is highly recommended. The concierge arranged for the tours and other services.

Beautiful place. All the public areas, terraces etc were stunning. Be prepared for a small room and expensive stay but the place is amazing and the location to then see the Alhambra, alone, is worth the stay. We had the 'superior' double room . Tiny balcony views overlook the Alhambra gardens. Breakfast and dinner were among the top of the... More

We stayed at the Paradore in Granada. This hotel is five stars and set in the middle of everything you want to see. It is VERY pricey but this atmosphere and the fantastic location make it worth every penny you spend. Our room overlooked the Genelife gardens and we were next door to the palace. Again buy your tickets online... More

Rooms are nice, but small for the price. Unbeatable location, if you're in Granada mainly for the Alhambra. The hotel is a converted monastery which is still very much a part of the Alhambra, so expect to see non-guests wander through the common areas. This is the second Parador we have stayed in and the better of the two (the... More
