I am used to stay in budget hostels but this one couldn’t have been worse!!!! Don’t know if it is because of the 19 shared rooms and ONLY 1 BATHROOM, the lack of windows, the dirtiness, the lack of care, the lack of reception, ... Even the remote control for the AC is not to be touched!

The best thing is the good location. Then, the rest if the things are bad: too noisy, reception is only open in the morning, bathroom is shared and not too good. Price is high for that kind of hostel.

How do you begin a journey to Granada Andalucia ? Of course with so much excitement and anticipation ! That did not happen . My husband and I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights . The room was clean . We booked a room for 4 persons because that was their only available. One evening as we were already asleep , we heard a loud banging knock on our door. The hotel staff insisted on inspecting our room and wanted to get the extra bed. As I was already in my nightdress, my husband told me to go first to the bathroom . The hotel staff entered , even with my husbands protests. The hotel staff counted the number of persons in the room , However did not get the extra bed. This is rude and impolite. We vowed never to stay in this awful hotel again . If there is a Trip Advisor ZERO score, I would give them that . Hence Zacatin =ZERO

In the heart of this timeless city, right there in the middle of the crowded bazaars, the plaza nearby and with a typical interior design that reflects the local culture and traditions. There is always someone at the desk, a vending machine nearby and you will be minutes away from Plaza Nueva and the bus stop to climb the hill, destination : The Alhambra. The Hostal is also within a few minutes away from the ever so popular Al Baycin neighborhood. It is a very strategic location and pretty much everything is within reach. The room was clean, housekeeping was just amazing and the gentlemen at the desk looked after us and ensured we always had what we needed and knew where to go.

There are common spaces, with an arab-like feeling; you'll find there an automatic dispenser of water/snacks & the like and... a microwave owen! :) Nested in the maze of tiny streets of the Alcaiceria, no elevator but it's on the first story.
