Our one night in Granada at Casa Morisca was quite pleasant. Situated at the base of the Alhambra it's a short 15 minutes away depending on your fitness with a steep incline. The location is perfect; walking distance to most everything but we took a taxi from the bus station. Most of our time was spent exploring the city, but...

We stayed here for one night to visit the Alhambra. We had booked this hotel and did not know what to expect, so it was a magical experience opening the big front door and finding ourselves in the courtyard. A fountain plays, there are wooden balconies all round, and warm red tiling. It was like walking into a picture. Our...

This lovely hotel is located in a little side street at the bottom of the Alhambra. The internal courtyard is atmospheric with a small water feature. We had a great room, number 14, on the top (2nd) floor which was very quiet with a view of the Alhambra . There was an even better view from the bathroom window. The...

This lovely ancient 'riyad' style house under the shadow of the Alhambra has rooms on three levels surrounding a central courtyard with a traditional decorative pool and running water. The rooms are mellow and comfortable and the staff delightful and helpful. There's room to park opposite if you are brave enough to negotiate the narrow streets in a car. It...

This is such a lovely hotel in the centre of Granada with view of the Alhambra Palace, next to the Arab Quarter and with so many amazing restaurants and bars nearby. The staff are extremely welcoming and the hotel is so peaceful. Definitely would recommend a stay in this historic building!

Just got back from two nights at Hotel Casa Morisca. Had similar experience to others in that finding the hotel, even with instructions and our SAT NAV, was a real challenge. Hotel though is beautiful. In a fantastic location (once you've parked your car). Our room was the most expensive (No. 8) by default, as it was the only room...

A very cute hotel. Nice location for the Alhambra and old town - short walks to everywhere but you get a peace and quiet in exchange. The rooms are small but cosy. The breakfast is (very) simple but acceptable. The hotel overall is very clean and the staff warm - special mention to the breakfast lady. Don't expect much modernity...

The hotel is quaint and full of character. The central courtyard, huge heavy front door and tiles on the floors are nice features. The room was smallish but nice, with a balcony with a view of the Alhambra. Bathroom had an unpleasant odour but was clean. Service on front desk was not very proactive, but helpful when asked. Bed was...

Casa Morisca is a beautifully restored historic building renovated into a very comfortable hotel. Great location right next to the Alhambra with beautiful views right outside the front door of the Alhambra on the cliffs above. I want to say a big thank you to Lues who helped us book Alhambra entrance tickets when I discovered I couldn't book tickets...
