Personal, hotel, location, comfort all unique. Just because the hotel is on the 4th floor and so has one star, I do not know who invented it. It is the convenience of guests and whether reception is on the ground or on the 4th floor it does not matter. Sitting out on the balcony was very nice. Drink is the... More

very nice hotel, great staff, clean with good air conditioning. Location was excellent. Close to nice restaurants and bars. Safe area in plaza across from police station. Walking distance to all major sights and a nice balcony for all guests to use.

A bit hard to find but once there, it's a very good spot to stay in the old city of Granada. It has a supermarket downstairs where you can get cheap groceries. It's also walking distance to many attractions in Granada. A bit dark at night but seemingly safe. Many good eateries nearby. Hotel staff are able to converse in... More

I went in off season, so the value for the hotel I thought was great since it provided a good location, clean nice rooms, friendly staff. It might be off-putting to some that the building isn't a dedicated hotel, but that shouldn't be a big deal. I would go back if I ever passed through Granada.

The reviews on the Carlos V sometimes report a negative re the supermarket below. It wasn't for us. It had no impact whatsoever, except it was easy to buy drinks! The hotel itself is located on one floor of an historic building. Its right at the end of the pedestrianed road to town. Far enough out to be quite, but... More

Everything was nice during our stay for one night. However, later on during out trip I discovered a hundred dollar bill was missing from my wallet. The only time it was not with me was at the time of a breakfast in Carlos V. Contacting hotel by email did not get any response. So just a piece of advice for... More

It is unbelievable that I get such value with the AMT I have paid for. Minus half a point for less than ideal location, minus 1 point for no wifi in the room. But plus 2 points for nice bathroom, plus 2 points for low rates ( so cheap ), plus 2 points for nice friendly staff. I dunno. I... More

The hotel is not the easiest to find and you have to be lucky to park outside to register and then you drive around the block back to the parking which you have just passed. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of all the tourist... More

Good basic hotel in a great location - much better than one star rating. 47 euros for double room with no reduction for single occupancy. Continental breakfast very good for 6 euros other than obnoxious machine coffee. Small but clean and well equipped room. Great location near centre of town. Parking means leaving car outside if any space while you... More
